FOLD FOR LOVE

For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it
shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because
it will surely come, it will not tarry (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).

“True love waits.” “God’s will must prevail.” “Right partner, right future.” “There’s a right time for
everything.” These are the principles of those who are patiently waiting for their true love, the one
who’s being reserved by God for them to be their lifetime partner. “Love conquers all.” This phrase is
the claim of those who set love as superior than anything; that love can’t be resisted or hindered by
religion, culture, tradition, people, financial status, or any forms of impediment. Thus, what can you
say about love? Let me share you nice stories of two schoolmates who become club mates and
most interestingly, would they become lovers???
One fine morning, Reu, a transferee, wore her new school uniform: white blouse & tie and
chequered yellow green skirt with creamy bag in her left arm and best-fitted in her the 3-inch boot-
style black shoes. Upon passing the hallway, since new in school, she could sense and feel the eyes
of the students, gazing and staring at her from crown to sole. But still, she managed to walk
confidently and smartly. “Good morning Miss Bright!” Frey greeted her. “Hi Miss Genius!” Al added.
“Hello, good morning! Somewhat exagg ha?” she humbly responded. Without her knowledge, two
young men were talking about her. “‘Pare’ I like that young lady but I think it’s hard for us to make
friends with her, ” Devz talked to Neg. “Yes ‘Pare’, she’s beauteous but I think she’s snobbish, strict
and not personable,” Neg shared. “Yeah, what we can only do is to look at her, so sad we can’t
befriend her,” Devz despondently added.
Its afternoon when the weather was clear and bright, Reu, Yen, & Mae had their conversation near
the stairway of College building while waiting for their next class. Due to Reu’s sensitivity, she
sceptically said, “Hmp girls, someone keeps on staring at me.
