About This Guide

This manual contains a description of the operation and maintenance of ATT-03 Tensile Tester. MAKE
sure read the operation manual prior to use.

Safety Precautions EVERY PRECAUTION SHOULD BE TAKEN TO AVOID ANY HIDDEN RISKS ARISING FROM
THE OPERATION OF ATT-03.

Power supply must be AC 220V 50 Hz, and should be well grounded.

ATT-03 SHOULD NOT be operated in intensely corrosive, combustible, explosive, or similar environment,
or under intensive vibration or strong electromagnetic interference

ATT -03 SHOULD NOT be operated with other high-power electrical appliances.

Disassembly of the instrument or modification of the system without authorization is strictly

PROHIBITED.

The position restrictor has been set to a proper position for the protection of the load cell. Please refer
to specific instruction if its position needs to be changed.

Users who fail to comply with this manual take full responsibility for any accidents and damages.

Operating personnel should be present during the test process.

Load cell is not in warranty

Set the position restrictor properly.

Introduction

ATT 03 Tenule Tester is designed to perform tensile strength, peel adhesion, shear strength, tear
strength, and seal strergth tests on packaging materials such as adhesive tapes, rubber, composite films,
webs, and paper, etc.

Unpacking

DO NOT GRASP THE LOAD CELL AND GRIPS WHEN BEING REMOVED OUT FROM CARTON Remove the
instrument from the shipping carton and inspect for any signs of damage. Contact the delivery agent
immediately if any damage observed. Leave the instrument in the shipping carton for the delivery agent
to examine the damage.

If there is no visible damage, check the contents of the shipment against the packaging list Notify us
immediately if there are any discrepancies

If re-shipment is necessary, the instrument should be repacked in the original box. Please keep the box
properly.

ATT 03 Tenule Tester está diseñado para realizar pruebas de resistencia a la tracción, adherencia al
desprendimiento, resistencia al corte, resistencia al desgarro y resistencia al sellado en materiales de
embalaje como cintas adhesivas, caucho, películas compuestas, bandas y papel, etc.

Caracteristicas

La pantalla táctil TFT de 7 pulgadas hace que la configuración de parámetros y la operación de prueba
sean fáciles y convenientes.
 El controlador lógico programable PLC realiza un control preciso del sistema de conducción y del
rendimiento general del instrumento.

Desembalar

NO AGARRE LA CELDA DE CARGA Y LOS GRIPS CUANDO SE QUITE DEL CARTÓN Retire el instrumento de
la caja de envío e inspeccione si hay signos de daños. Póngase en contacto con el agente de entrega
inmediatamente si observa algún daño. Deje el instrumento en la caja de envío para que el agente de
entrega examine el daño.

Si no hay daños visibles, verifique el contenido del envío en la lista de empaque Notifíquenos de
inmediato si hay alguna discrepancia

Si es necesario volver a enviarlo, el instrumento se debe volver a empaquetar en la caja original. Por
favor, mantenga la caja correctamente.

Human computer Interface Operation

All parameter settings and operation are done by the touching screen. The following is the explanation of
different interfaces.

Power on

When powered on, the screen will first show the logo of Leading Instrument Co., Ltd. and then the
system goes through the self-test test, During this period, AVOID any touching operation on the screen
until the system goes to the standby mode.

Operación de interfaz de computadora humana

Encendido

Cuando se enciende, la pantalla mostrará primero el logotipo de Leading Instrument Co., Ltd. y luego el
sistema realizará la prueba de autoprueba. Durante este período, EVITE cualquier operación de contacto
en la pantalla hasta que el sistema pase al modo de espera .

Parameter Setting

Parameters are set by pressing the white rectangular blanks by the floating keyboard

Note:

Num. is the preset number of tests

Speed: is the speed for doing tester, random setting between 1-500mm/min

Length is the grip distance, i.e. the part of the sample between two grips

Width: is the width of sample

La: is the initial length that is not calculated in final result in peeling test

Lb: is the tail length that is not calculated in final result in peeling test

Thickness: how thick the sample is, to be measured by a precise thickness gauge

Layer: is for tearing tester, meaning how many layers of samples are to be torn

Note:

The precise information of the above sample detail is crucial to final value of relative test items. (Please
refer to appendix)

Nota:

La información precisa del detalle de la muestra anterior es crucial para el valor final de los elementos
de prueba relativos. (Por favor refiérase al apéndice)

Parameter Saving

When the two parameters are set,press SAVE button sabe.

After parámetros are set,press TEST button ok the main menu to have the following display.

This interface indicates the six test items that can be performed on ATT-03.

Press the corresponding button to enter one test ítem.

Note: the UP and DOWN buttom should be kept pressing when adjusting the postion of upper grip.

Loadcell should be well protected during the test when moving up and down the grip.

In 180 and 90 degree peeling,change the position of restrictor for test plate if necessary,so as to avoid
the crash between upper and lover grip.(See appendix)

Installation

The system should be placed with enough space to allow installation and operation .

The instrument should not be operated under strong electromagnetic interferences

The instrument should not be operated with other high- power electrical appliances.

Power supply should be 220V 50 Hz, and well grounded

Operating personnel should perform the test according to this instruction manual.

Place the whole system on a steady table.

Connect the power cord to the instrument and plug in 220V 50Hz power supply

Operation

Operation procedures

Prepare and condition test specimens according to specific standard .

Turn on the instrument

Load test specimen

Setup test parameters

Select test item .

Run the test

Finish the test -

Unload the specimen

Repeat another test

When all tests are finished, turn off the instrument

Calibration
- Prepare a precise weight. Since the system is of level 0.5 precision, the tolerable error for calibration is
displayed value x ( 1 + - 0.5 % ) . For example , if the weight is 50 N , the displayed value should lie
between 49.75 N and 50.25 N to meet the calibration requirement

The suggest weight for calibration is 25kg.

- Turn on the instrument.

- Press to enter calibration interface

- enter the password 5555 forma calibration by the floating keyboard

- enter the calibración interface

- Do not hang any weight on the grip,input 0,0 for zero. Then press"set" button to confirm.The red dot
will turn green to indicate the completion.

Note:

The Range value is the loadcell range,and in this modelo,input 50kg and then press Save to confirm.

###Instalación

El sistema debe colocarse con espacio suficiente para permitir la instalación y el funcionamiento.

El instrumento no debe ser operado bajo fuertes interferencias electromagnéticas.

El instrumento no debe operarse con otros aparatos eléctricos de alta potencia.

La fuente de alimentación debe ser 220V 50 Hz y estar bien conectada a tierra.

El personal operativo debe realizar la prueba de acuerdo con este manual de instrucciones.

Coloque todo el sistema en una mesa estable.

Conecte el cable de alimentación al instrumento y conecte la fuente de alimentación de 220V 50Hz

Calibración
 - Preparar un peso preciso. Como el sistema tiene una precisión de nivel 0.5, el error tolerable para la
calibración se muestra en el valor x (1 + - 0.5%). Por ejemplo, si el peso es 50 N, el valor mostrado debe
estar entre 49.75 N y 50.25 N para cumplir con el requisito de calibración

El peso sugerido para la calibración es de 25kg.

- Enciende el instrumento.

- Presione para entrar en la interfaz de calibración

- ingrese la contraseña 5555 forma calibración por el teclado flotante

- Entrar en la interfaz de calibración.

- No cuelgue ningún peso sobre la empuñadura, ingrese 0,0 para cero. Luego presione el botón
"configurar" para confirmar. El punto rojo se volverá verde para indicar que se completó.

Nota:

El valor del rango es el rango de la celda de carga, y en este modelo, ingrese 50 kg y luego presione
Guardar para confirmar.

The PV value with the Newton unit is showing correspondingly when the weighted is hung Software

The instrument can be connected to the computer by the communication cable from the RS 232 port.
The operation, data saving and test report printing can be realized by the software.

Installation

Insert the Kingview Disk to the CD-ROM

Browse the contents of the CD and double click Setup" icon.Then reach the following interface.

Click Install kingviw programa.And then click next.

Choose"I Accept the terms in the license agreement" and click "Next"

Input User name and Organization and click"Next"

Choose the instalation folder and click "Next".

Choose running files and click"Next"

Click"Install"

Wait until it is installed.

Click"Finish"

Install the following three programs in turn in the same way as above

When all the installations are complete, click"exit".

4.3. Operation

Insert the encryption key to one of the computer USB port. Set according to the following interface and
press"OK" to confirm.

Copy the ATT-03 software to the computer from the CD-Rom.

Click icon from the desktop to run the kingview software.

Click "Search" to search the target folder where the ATT-03 software is, then click "View" button to run.

Run the ATT-03 software and enter Welcome menú.

Choose one of the test items and click to enter the test interface.

4.3. Operación

Inserte la clave de cifrado en uno de los puertos USB de la computadora. Realice la configuración de
acuerdo con la siguiente interfaz y presione "OK" para confirmar.

Copie el software ATT-03 a la computadora desde el CD-Rom.

Haga clic en el icono del escritorio para ejecutar el software Kingview.

Haga clic en "Buscar" para buscar en la carpeta de destino donde se encuentra el software ATT-03, luego
haga clic en el botón "Ver" para ejecutar.

Ejecute el software ATT-03 y entre en el menú de bienvenida.

Elija uno de los elementos de prueba y haga clic para ingresar a la interfaz de prueba.
 Test interface (strength and elongation)

Enter the parameters.Imput the sample and test information in the '???' area by the floating keyboard at
parameters section.

When parameters are set,operate the tester by the five buttoms of UP, DOWN,TEST,STOP and CLEAR.

Keep press Up and Down button to adjust the position of upper grupo.

Press Test button to star a test.

Press Stop button to stop the movement of upper grip.

Press Clear button to clear away the existing test data.

When all test are finished,the test result will show at"Result" section.('???' will become value when data
is obtained in test.

When test report is needed,press Report button to export the data to pdf format.

Before the pdf is generated,first input all the necessary data about sample and test information.

When all information is input,press PRINT button to export to pdf file.

Press.........button to return to main menu to choose a test item.

Note:

When pressing the buttons,keep pressing it for more then one second to make sure the operation
instruction is well transmitted to the tensile tester.

MAINTENANCE

General maintenance

Read the instruction manual thoroughly before any operation.

Power supply must be AC 220V 50Hz,and should be grounded.

Do not disassemble the instrument.

Power off the instrument and cover with a dust cloth after test.

Note: Load cell is not in warranty.

Notice:

Before you call for help,we highly recommend that the following work be done:

Read the Operation Manual thoroughly and check all possible problems.

Place instrument and Instruction Manual at hand;

Prepare the following information: model, purchase date.

The restriction is realized by the proximity sensor fixed on the moving crossing beam. The lowest
position the upper grip can move towards is parallel to the restriction knob position.

The knob is already set to a suitable position for most test items, except when during the peeling test,
when a test plate is used for the peeling force test of, for example, sensitive tape. In this case, the knob
has to be moved up a little to avoid the upper grip crash with the lower grip .

To set up the position restrictor, first turn knob to release the restrictor, adjust the position of the knob
and fasten it.

It's suggested that after the knob is fastened, the upper grip be adjusted by 'UP' and 'DOWN' button on
the screen, so as to make sure that knob is in the suitable position.

Once the position of the restrictor has been setup, do not change it unless the length of the test
specimen changes.

When performing 180°/90° peel test, carefully observe the distance between upper grip and test
plate/peeling accessory. Once less than 15 mm, press "STOP" to avoid load cell damage.
