Day 01
Welcome to Helsinki.
Bon Voyage! Today, your fun-filled tour Scandic East Europe begins. On arrival at Helsinki, proceed to your conveniently
located hotel on your own. (Check in post 1400 hrs, please re confirm for exact timings and details about your tour, hotels
and meeting place with the Tour Manager). Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 02.
Rovaniemi – Visit the Santa Claus Village – Guided tour of Arktikum Museum.
Fly to Rovaniemi, the official home town of Santa Clause. Proceed to visit the Santa Claus Village here you have some
free time. Later, proceed for guided tour of Arktikum Museum, a museum and science centre exploring the Arctic region.
Overnight in Rovaniemi.

Day 03.
Visit the Rauna zoo (May onwards) – Fly to Helsinki.
Visit the Rauna zoo, the northernmost zoo in the world (May onwards). Proceed to the airport to fly back to Helsinki.

Day 04.
Helsinki – Guided city tour – Onto Stockholm.
Fly to Helsinki for a guided city tour: see the Senate Square, the Lutheran Tempelliauki Church, the Sibelius Park,
the Presidential Palace, Finland Hall, Opera House and many more interesting sights. Later, board the luxurious cruise
across the Baltic Sea to Stockholm. Enjoy on board activities and shopping on the cruise.

Day 05.
Guided city tour of Stockholm – Visit the famous Vasa Museum.
Disembark at Stockholm, proceed for a guided city tour: Visit the glamorous City Hall – where the Nobel Prize banquette
takes place, see the Royal Palace and the Cathedral, and visit the famous Vasa Museum. Later spend some free time on
your own.

Day 06.
Onto Oslo – Visit the town of Karlstad.
Drive to Oslo. Enroute, visit the town of Karlstad, situated on the northern shores of Lake Vanern, bisected by the
Klaralven River.

Day 07.
Guided city tour of Oslo – Visit Vigeland Sculpture Park – Visit the Viking Ship Museum –Visit the Holmenkollen Ski
Jump area – Visit the Ice Bar.
Guided city tour of Oslo: Visit Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum and the Holmenkollen Ski Jump area and
many more on your guided tour. Later visit the famous Ice Bar.

Day 08.
Travel on one of Norway’s most popular trips ‘Norway in a nutshell’. A combination of spectacular train rides
and impressive trips by boat and bus.
‘Norway in a nutshell’: Board train to Myrdal, change to the Flam railway line, for a scenic travel to Flam. Wander around
the idyllic countryside, before embarking on a boat ride through the Aurlandsfjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the
narrowest fjords in Europe, surrounded by mountains of up to 1800 meters. On arrival at scenic Gudvangen, board the
coach and travel through the impressive Norwegian landscape to Bergen.

Day 09.
Guided city tour of Bergen – Ride on the Funicular train – Onto Copenhagen.
Guided city tour of Bergen: See the Hanseatic wharf Bryggen with its pastel–colour wooden houses, winding
cobblestone streets, and Old Bergen. Next, take a ride on the Funicular train, to the top of the mountain; here you will
also have a chance to shop at the many exciting outlets. Later, fly to Copenhagen.

Day 10.
Guided city tour of Copenhagen – Visit the famous Tivoli Gardens.
Guided city tour of Copenhagen: See the City Hall, Parliament building, Amalienborg Palace, Stock Exchange, Gefion
fountain, Little Mermaid statue and many other interesting sights. Next, visit the famous Tivoli Gardens. Here you will have
an opportunity to enjoy the various rides on your own.

Day 11.
Onto Germany – Arrive into Berlin.
Drive to the town of Gedser, to board your ferry to cross over to Rostock in Germany. On arrival at Rostock, board your
coach and proceed to Berlin.

Day 12.
Guided tour of Berlin – See the Berlin Wall – Visit Brandenburg Gate Museum – Visit Alexander Platz.
Guided city tour of Berlin: See the famous Berlin Wall, stop at the Brandenburg Gate in Pariser Platz and visit the museum,
see the Reichstag, visit Alexander Platz, where you will see the World Time Clock. Later, some free time to explore the city
on own.

Orientation tour of Dresden – Drive to Prague.
Drive to Dresden for an orientation tour of this picturesque city. Later drive to Prague – the city of hundred spires, built at
the meandering Vltava River.

Day 14.
Guided city tour of Prague – Entrance to the Prague Castle included – Visit St. Vitus Cathedral – Golden lane – Tram
Tour Experience – Lunch at Hard Rock Café.
Guided city tour of Prague: Visit the Prague Castle, its courtyards and St. Vitus Cathedral from inside, visit the Royal
Palace, walk through the Golden Lane, visit the Old Town Square, see the Town Hall, an astronomical clock, the
famous Charles Bridge. Experience Prague by Tram ride. Later, some free time to stroll around the old town.

Day 15.
Onto to Krakow
Check out and proceed to Poland. Enjoy a country side scenic drive to Krakow, Poland. On arrival check in to the Hotel.
Later proceed to the old town and, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant. Later drive back to your hotel

Day 16.
Wieliczka Salt mines –Guided city tour of Krakow.
Proceed to Wieliczka Salt mines – one of the oldest in Europe a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Next, guided city tour
of Krakow: the medieval town centre, the Main Market square, the splendid Renaissance Cloth Hall, see twin-towered
St Mary’s Church, Jagiellonian University and Wavell Hill with its great Castle and Cathedral.

Day 17.
Auschwitz Concentration Camp – Drive to Vienna.
Guided tour of WWII one of most famous – Auschwitz Concentration Camp a sombre experience that highlights
beyond imagination atrocities that occurred here in-between 1939–1945. Later drive to the meticulous city Vienna –
the Austrian capital.

Day 18.
Guided city tour of Vienna – Visit the glorious Schoenbrunn Palace.
Guided tour of Vienna: Pass by the magnificent Opera House, Hofburg and Belvedere Palaces, see the Rathaus, St.
Stephen’s Church and many more interesting monuments. Next visit the most famous Schoenbrunn Palace a UNESCO
world cultural heritage site. Later, free time for shopping.

Day 19.
Visit Seegrotte– Europe's largest subterranean lake by boat – Mini train ride in Bratislava.
Visit Seegrotte, comprising of a series of underground chambers containing Europe's largest subterranean lake by boat.
Later depart for an orientation tour of Bratislava the only national capital that borders two independent countries.
Later proceed
to Budapest.

Day 20.
Guided city tour of Budapest – enjoy the Danube river cruise – visit the Hero’s Square – Hungarian Horsemanship show.
Guided tour of Budapest: Visit the Citadel, Heroes Square, see the Chain Bridge that connects the cities of Buda and Pest
and many more. Next enjoy a show of Hungarian Horsemanship. Later, enjoy dinner on board Danube river cruise and see
the sights of Budapest on the Danube river cruise.

• On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
• A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
• Due to international events and trade fairs all throughout Europe such as Air Show, music festivals, ice skating
championships etc, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the city.
• Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
• During heat wave in Europe air conditioning of the hotels and coaches may cease to function as they are not built for
such high temperatures.
• Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.

• Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the hub city at their own expense.
• Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts
and bag snatching. Thomas cook will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
• Meals are pre–set and a–la carte is not possible.
• On certain days packed lunch will be provided.
• Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook
will not be liable for the same.
• Disabled clients should carry their own wheelchair and should be accompanied by a qualified companion who is able
to provide assistance to the disabled client.
• Coaches are non-wheelchair compliant. There are steps to board / alight from the coach.
• The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident,
death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes,
war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers.
Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
• The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules
of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
• Due to private coaches being forbidden inside most of the Scandinavian cities; as per EU norms to preserve them and
to avoid getting them polluted and overcrowded, most of your sightseeing will be done by local buses and by foot.
Generally, you will have to walk at sightseeing places, amusement parks and at the airports sometimes for a long
distance; however the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Manager. It is advisable to carry good pair of
comfortable sports shoes. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as
possible.
• Due to major international events and trade fairs throughout Europe such as Air Show, World Athletic Meet, the
Motor Show, Ice Skating Championships etc, the hotels may be blocked out more than two years in advance. In view
of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered /
amended.
• We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
• We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised.
• For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all the services will remain
the same.
• There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour
