Greetings!

The Philippine Association of Municipal Assessors (PAMAS), Inc., will be holding its 12th National
Conference-Seminar on May 28-31, 2019 at Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, Iloilo City with authorization
from Mr. Niño Raymond B. Alvina, Executive Director, Bureau of local Government Finance, Department
of Finance under BLGF CB Authority No. 004-2019, dated 19 February 2019. A photocopy of the
aforementioned authority is hereto attached for your reference.

Our theme for this year is, “PAMAS 2019: Strengthening Local Government Capacity on Emerging
Assessment and Appraisal Trends”. PAMAS, Inc. has been conducting conferences and seminars to
further enhance the skills and capabilities of assessors and appraisers on emerging and new trends of
assessment and appraisal. We have invited lecturers and speakers who are accredited National
Trainers/Speakers of the Professional Regulation Commission-Professional Regulatory Board for Real
Estate Service (PRC-PRBRES) as well as from accredited organizations of the private sector that are
knowledgeable in the field of real property appraisal, assessment and practices. This is accredited by the
PRC-PRBRES with 16 Continuing Professional Development units.

In this connection, we would like to seek your permission to allow your Municipal Assessor, Mr. Marlon
I. Esguerra, and local assessment personnel and other personnel whose work is related to appraisal and
assessment to attend the said conference-seminar. A registration fee of P6,000.00 per participant shall
be collected to defray expenses for honoraria of speakers, supplies and materials as well as other
incidental expenses necessary in hosting the conference, exclusive of hotel accommodation and travel
expenses which is chargeable against local funds, subject to existing accounting and auditing
requirements. The annual dues of P 500.00 shall be collected to a member of PAMAS, Inc. and for new
members, a one-time membership fee of P 500.00 shall likewise be collected.
