I. Objectives
Given a PowerPoint presentation; students are expected to:
 Identify the preposition of time and place.
 Use the correct preposition in a sentence and;
 Demonstrate correct usage of preposition through completing a story.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Preposition of time and place (IN, AT and ON)

Materials:

Flashcard, PowerPoint Presentation

III. Procedure
A. Preparatory

Teacher’s Activity Student’s activity

“Good Morning Class…” “Good Morning Sir!”

“Let’s pray first…” (One student will lead the prayer)

(Checking of Attendance) (Students will tell who’s absent for the day)

“So, how are you Class? “It was great Sir!”

“That’s good to know. So, are you ready for (Students are expected to respond)
our discussion today?”

Lesson Proper

A. Motivation

(The teacher will show a paper strips to the

class with printed with a time, year, month “Yes sir!”
and a specific date.)
“I would like 2 volunteers from each row and (Students are expected to raise their hands)
pick a paper strip; you must then tell the class
what you were doing at that time.

“Class why do you think we need to use the “Sir, we need to use the correct preposition

Discussion

“Class today we’re going to discuss the basic

preposition of time and place.

“I know many of us are still confused when to

use some preposition such as IN, AT, and On.

(The teacher will run through a PPT (Students are expected to listen actively)
presentation.)

“Okay class let’s have a practice.” “Sir I would like to answer.”

B. Application

“Now, let’s have an activity.”

“Okay class, I will start a story and you have

to take turns to continue the story using the (students participating with the activity
