A Detailed lesson Plan in English

I. Objectives
Given a PowerPoint presentation; students are expected to:
 Identify the preposition of time and place.
 Use the correct preposition in a sentence and;
 Demonstrate correct usage of preposition through completing a story.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Preposition of time and place (IN, AT and ON)

Materials:

Flashcard, PowerPoint Presentation

III. Procedure
A. Preparatory

“Good Morning Class…” “Good Morning Sir!”

“Let’s pray first…” (One student will lead the prayer)

(Checking of Attendance) (Students will tell who’s absent for the day)

“So, how are you Class? “It was great Sir!”

“That’s good to know. So, are you ready for (Students are expected to respond)
our discussion today?”

Lesson Proper

A. Motivation

(The teacher will show a paper strips to the


class with printed with a time, year, month “Yes sir!”
and a specific date.)
“I would like 2 volunteers from each row and (Students are expected to raise their hands)
pick a paper strip; you must then tell the class
what you were doing at that time.
