HOMEMADE breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas, lunches and snacks available throughout
the day.
The Bridgetown Lawn Tennis Club is a fully licensed venue.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES may be brought to the club during the tournament.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis West and will be conducted under the present Rules of Tennis, and the Policies and Regulations of
Tennis Australia and Tennis West. The Tennis Australia Code of Conduct and Tennis West Behaviour Code apply to this tournament and
will be displayed at grounds for perusal by competitors. The referee or an appointed Deputy has the final decision on any matter over play
and may impose penalties under both or either codes.

• This tournament is open to all players affiliated with either Tennis West or any other Tennis Association affiliated to and accepting the
final authority of the International Tennis Federation.
• The committee shall have the entire control and management of the Tournament and reserves the right to refuse entry of any players
without providing a reason
• Entries must be made on the official entry form or online. Entry fees must accompany the entry form.
• Play will begin punctually each day at the advertised time. Competitors must be on the ground 20 minutes prior to times fixed for
matches whatever may be the weather. In the absence of any announcements to the contrary, all competitors must be on the ground by
7:40 am.
• The referee and the committee may postpone any match or part of any match within the limit of the days sanctioned by Tennis
Australia if in their opinion the state of weather, light or conditions of the ground or any other circumstances render it advisable to do
so. See the Tennis Australia Extreme Weather Policy. In the event of such a postponement, the match shall be resumed from a position
in which it was when the postponement was ordered, unless the referee and players unanimously agree otherwise.
• The committee reserves the right to commence play earlier than the advertised time and to reduce the length of the matches if
necessary to permit completion of the tournament.
• The Committee does not undertake to provide umpires.
• If the competitor is absent or shall refuse to play when called, he / she may be disqualified and entrance fee forfeited.
• Tennis Attire:- The Tennis Australia Tournaments Dress Code shall apply.
• Championship singles events will be two 12 point tie break sets. If the score is 1 set all, the match will be decided by a match
tiebreaker (first to 10 points). The draw will be seeded.
• All doubles events will be run as Round Robins in graded divisions based on the player ratings. Each division is further divided into
sub-groups, the winners of which proceed to semi-finals and/or finals. Winners are 1st to 9 games, with a 12 point tie-breaker at 8
games all. 
• The committee reserves the right to order any match to be played on other than tournament courts.
• Competitors may enter a maximum of three (3) events, but only one (1) junior singles.
• Entrants in the Veterans event must have reached the age of 45 years (men) or 40 years (women) on or before 19/4/19
• Entrants in Junior events must be the specified age or under on 19/4/19
• The committee reserves the right to cancel or combine any events in which there are in their opinion insufficient entries.
• HIT UP TIME: Players are reminded that the maximum time allowed is three minutes.
• Draw will be available online by Thursday 18 April.

• Play shall be continuous in all sets, i.e. there will be N0 10 MINUTE break in a match standing at one set all. The only exception will
be as the Referee in his decision approves. 
• No one may advise a competitor during the playing of the match, except during the official break.
