b) With the aid of examples, explain to what extent they are separate and distinct management

6. a) Explain the effectiveness of time management for managers of an organisation. [8]


b) With the aid of examples, assess the potential benefits to organisations and their staff. [12]

7. Using suitable examples of your own choice, evaluate the FOUR types of culture in organisations
as described and developed by C. Handy. [5 each]

8. Human resource planning is an important part of the work of a human resources manager. With the
aid of diagrams and examples:
a) define human resource planning [8]
b) explain its importance to corporate planning [12]
