1) The datum used shall be with respect to mean sea level.

2) Separate method statement to be submitted for concrete placing and casting etc , maximum
temperature mentioned for concreting shall be as per contractual requirement.
3) Add a note related to backfill. No backfill is permitted until the concrete of the complete section
of the structure has reached their design strength.
4) Grade of concrete for permanent RC column to be mentioned.
5) Method statement for temp formwork/propping under suspended concrete work and
construction of masonry work etc to be provided.
P4B01-GUT-CV-BAS- 6) Maximum Cementous content to be in accordance with the contract specification.
PP4-DDN-2000 7) Waterproofing specification to be mentioned as per contractual requirement. Don’t just refer
P4B01-GUT-CV-BAS- B01 contract document.
PP4-DGG-2001 8) Fire resistance of the UG structures shall be comply with the contract specification and to be C
P4B01-GUT-CV-BAS- mentioned in the drawing.
PP4-DGG-2002 9) Clear cover for secant pile, retaining wall , all other temporary structures and above ground
structure (ancillary building etc) to be provided.
10) Tensile strength of coupler, thread shall be as per requirement and to be ensured in the method
statement.
11) Mention note “these notes do not cover temporary works. To be referred separate drawings.”
12) Contractor to follow the construction sequence as per approved sequence drawing. All works
shall comply with the engineer’s specifications.
13) Please add a note related to Instrumentation & monitoring to refer separate drawing
14) Please add a note related to loading “All construction loads shall be limited to the loads shown in
the relevant construction sequence drawing.”
 15) No excavation to take place under the slab or loading until the concrete has reached its 28 days
design strength or as advised by the designers.
16) Please add note related to concrete repair for example - structural crack and contractor to
provide method statement.
17) Please add note related to post construction core drilling and any measures to be taken care of
strength.
18) Please add note related to structural steel works, stainless steel, welding, weld testing etc.
19) If embedded pipe dia is more than 300mm how stirrups will be adjusted?
20) Welding, healing or rebending of steel reinforcement bar shall not be permitted without
Engineer’s approval.
21) Lap length of reinforcement (for grade < M40 if any structures) to be mentioned as per codal
provision.
22) Is this general note drawing applicable for entire UGC01 including bored tunnel and NATM?
23) Check the revision history and check the title, specify applicable structure like Cut & Cover
Structures/UG Station.
