ABSTRACT

This study investigated level of stress among the selected Grade 12


students in San Jacinto National High School, School Year 2018-2019.
This study was a descriptive survey and the population comprises of
selected Grade 12 students in San Jacinto National High School.

A stratified sampling was used in getting the respondents, which


involved 50 students made up of male and female. A questionnaire was
retrieved from the internet and modified by the researchers. It was
validated through expert discernment by the critic reader and research
teacher to collect relevant data.

The data collected were analyzed using Average Weighted Mean,


Percentage and Chi-square Test for the research questions.

The result indicated that Grade 12 students had a Stressful Level


of Stress in academic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, environmental,
spiritual factors and Very Stressful Level of Stress in financial factors.

There was no significant relationship between the level of stress to


the personal profile of the Grade 12 students. It was recommend that the
school should be provided for physical exercises and relaxation to release
tension in the students.
