Firmware Update Instructions via USB: AVR-X1200W

The following steps must be taken to install firmware via USB in your
model:

1. After downloading the update, move the folder marked “firmwares” onto
a FAT 16 or 32 formatted USB drive. (Not needed if a Denon USB drive is
supplied to you)

2. Unplug the X1200W from power.

3. Place the USB drive into the AVR's front USB port.

4. From the X1200W's front panel, press and hold TUNER PRESET CH +
and STATUS buttons.

5. While pressing in the above mentioned buttons, plug in the X1200W to

power.

6. Keep TUNER PRESET CH + and STATUS buttons held in until you see
"USB Update File Check" (A few seconds)

7. The Update will start downloading and when finished it will display
"Update Complete" on the X1200W's Display.

8. Remove the USB drive from the X1200W’s USB port and power cycle
the X1200W using the Power / Standby button. The receiver is now ready
for use.
