DPNS ON CERAMIC TILES

The Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS),

circulates the following International Standards of the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) through the Technical Committee on Ceramics and Ceramic Products
(BPS/TC 29) as draft Philippine National Standards (DPNS) to concerned sectors
for comments:

1. DPNS ISO 10545-1:2018 Ceramic tiles – Part 1: Sampling and basis for acceptance
(ISO published 2014) ICS: 91.100.23

2. DPNS ISO 10545-3:2018 Ceramic tiles – Part 3: Detem1ination of water absorption,

apparent porosity, apparent relative density and bulk density (ISO published 2018)

3. DPNS ISO 10545-4:2018 Ceramic tiles – Part 4: Determination of modulus of rupture

and breaking strength (ISO published 2014) ICS: 91.100.23

4. DPNS ISO 10545-8:2018 Ceramic tiles – Part 8: Determination of linear thermal

expansion (ISO published 2014) ICS: 91.100.23

5. DPNS ISO 10545-13:2018 Ceramic tiles – Part 13: Determination of chemical

Comments are accepted up to 16 December 2018. All comments received during the
circulation stage will be consolidated, processed, and taken into consideration by the Bureau
of Philippine Standards (BPS) prior to approval as PNS.
