 Worked with the Store Manager to fulfil administrative responsibilities for both Menswear and Womenswear
sections of the concession, including: overseeing staff payroll; carrying out staff briefs and task delegation;
organising and assisting visual merchandise floor moves; aiding in staff recruitment; demonstrating staff
presentation, customer-service and health and safety standards; dealing with higher-level customer complaints
and queries.
 Liaise with Merchandising and the Store Manager to report performance and to determine the most suitable
product mix and stock quantity for our store, based upon our own and company-wide performance figures.
 Oversee stock handling and storage. Implemented new routines and storage organisation to improve the
efficiency of stock handling, contributing to our Menswear concession currently trading at around +35% on
annual plan, achieving the best per-square-foot performance in the company.
 Compiled and sent sell-through reports and daily figures reports to head office. Worked with Selfridges security
to raise awareness of and train new hires in stock loss prevention.

 Continued with my previous duties and began training new hires, leading small groups of less-experienced staff in
task-fulfilment and checking end-of-day cash management.
 Began to expand my commercial awareness by gaining an insight into the importance of brand, stock and

initiatives and attending brand-awareness days at both Selfridges and Allsaints.

Interests and Activities


I’m a keen sportsman, having played for school and club football teams and captained cricket teams. I also
enjoy playing 7-a-side and badminton casually, following trends and fashion, photography and film, and
socialising with friends and colleagues. I am also currently learning Japanese in my spare time.
