For each type of stakeholder, which subsystems of the SBRU

booking system are of particular interest?

There are two main Primary stack holders of system

 Resort.
 Student.
Subsystem for primary stakeholder are: -
1). For student SBRU’s need to focus on: -

 Social networking among student

 Booking system
 Account and finance resource

2). For Resort SBRU’s need to focus on:

 Resort relation
 Student booking
 Account and financial services

2)FUNCTIONAL REQUIRNMENT OF SYSTEM FOR EACH OF THE MAJOR SUB-SYSTEM.

RESORT RELATION.

 -Create new account of resort.

 -resort should able to add information about resort and location
 Resort should able to post available rooms details, dates, price and facilities.
 View and edit room details and availability.
 Retrieve all information of reserved rooms and customers.

 Should able to claim damage amount done by student.

STUDENT BOOKING

3). Describe some usability requirements for student booking interactions and social networking
interactions.

All types of electronics devices should be supported like laptop, smartphones, tablets to make
reservations, check confirmed reservation, interact with friends. Systems should work proper and
effectively on all devices for reservations and seeing status because of screen size.

Student should have access to portal worldwide, should able to search resort and filter result by various
parameter such as location, price and services. User should able to add friend, create group and share
resort details between friends and group that have been created.it should be safe, secure and reliable at
round the clock to access.

4). Assuming that social networking at the resorts will require wireless communication and
connection to the Internet, what are some reliability requirements that resorts might be asked to
maintain? What are some performance requirements? Is this a bigger issue because resorts are in
international locations?

Resort once joining to SBRU’s should have reliable internet connection specially if it is registered as
international branch. Depending on usage and need of resort internet speed should be maintain or
installation of dedicated server is mandatory which is installed centrally for reliable access, As local sever
provide grater bandwidth allocation SBRU’s can also provide such facilities. Error checking and
troubleshooting is to be done on fixed duration to maintain local server and bandwidth allocation.

If resort is in international location they need to installed firewall protection to protect them from any
attack or hacking also constant regulation is to be set what user can access.
5). What are some security requirements? Is there any reason why students in Europe, Asia, or other
locations could not book rooms through SBRU? What issues might be anticipated?

Security and encryption in connection plays a vital role in process payment request. All request payment
request should be encrypted and use TLS because financial information is very critical to store. Both
Resort and Student individually may require different level of connectivity, security and authorization
depending on location. Resort account having data with availability, reservation details, payments
details and personal information on users and resort should be kept secure and protected by layer of
firewall so no third individual can access such information and hack into the systems as such information
are vital.

Students from Europe, Asia and other part of the country may not be able to make reservation if resort
website is not reachable or language is different due to which user with different language may not
understand information written on website, it is mandatory for any resort website to support multiple
language that depending on location should be able to change their language and text appearance.
For international User financial payments is also a concern as resort may accept payment in different
currency , so payment on such resort portal should be internationally supported so student from any
part of world can pay using their local currency,SBRU’s can provide currency conversion facility
internally to pay resort and receive payment from student .

6). To collect information on functional requirements for the social networking subsystem, what are
some techniques that might be used? Be specific and include some sample questions you might ask by
using various techniques.

Social networking system should be developed according to core market need what student require out
of social network platform and how their issue can be soled.
To implement successful social networking on system some techniques should be followed such as:-
1). taking survey of market and identifying major issue and trend of market and how using social
network we can solve that issue.
2). Developing social networking platform on basis of survey conducted and initially rolling beta version
of software to test system and get user feedback.
3). Based on user feedback or market response make changes in developed system and roll out in
various phases by version which include refine content, easy access, and reliability.
4). Build upon beta version release final version of system in market for local user (Student) to use.
