A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of performing
plumbing repair and maintenance work.
B. Performance The learner is able to use appropriate personal protective equipment in

IV PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing Guide Questions for Review Lessons
Previous Lesson 1. What did we do last meeting?
or Presenting Last meeting we performed rough-in installation on water system
New Lesson based on approved plan.
2. What is rough-in installation?
Rough In means to bring in the various lines (Plumbing pipes, duct
work, electrical conduit) to the space, but not make the final

connections. For plumbing, this would be the pipes in the walls and
floors that lead to the sinks, bath, toilets, etc, but not actually hooking
up those fixtures.
3. Who woud like to volunteer to perform rough-in water system
installation based on this isometric lay-out?

B. Establishing a Motivation

1. What is hazard?
A hazard is any agent that can cause harm or damage to humans,
property, or the environment.\
2. How will you protect yourselves from hazardous environment and
equipemnts?
We can protect ourselves from hazardous environment by using
personal protective equipment.
3. What is personal protective equipment?
Personal protective equipment is an equipment or anything that can
prevent us or keep our body from danger.
4. What parts of the body should be protected?
(Head, Face, Nose, Ear, Hand, Feet)
