How does this impact CUSTOMERS?

• VT equipped trucks built between April 2011 and August 2013 have 2G hardware installed
• AT&T will sundown their 2G network on December 31, 2016 and coverage between now and then
will decrease
• Zonar 2020 Tablet customers will be required to update to the 3G hardware to support the Tablet

How does this impact DEALERS?

• Avoid purchasing or renewing Detroit Connect contracts that
extend beyond December 31, 2016 on trucks with 2G
hardware

— Encourage 3G upgrades for 2+ year service contract

renewals

• Inform interested tablet customers who have 2G hardware that

a 3G upgrade kit will be required to support the tablet

1. Follow the installation instructions in the Virtual Technician Workshop Manual. Either 54.13 or
54.11 in ServicePro depending on the vehicle make and model.
2. Call or email Zonar to make sure the new ECU is registered:

3. If the VIN has Ground Traffic Control (previously known as Visibility), it is especially important
to notify Zonar by calling: 877-843-3847 (option 1)
