ownership and your input throughout every process. 

What will you be working on? 

On any given day, junior engineers might participate in reviewing the design of a new feature 
from our product designers; write a technical design document to explore the feasibility of a 
new feature; write APIs or client-side code; or help deploy the MVP of a new feature to our 
production website.  

 
What we’re looking for in a junior Engineer? 

A person with passion, a strong drive for results, thrives on continuous innovation, ​dreams big, 
self-starts​ and gets things done while having fun. You should be able to learn quickly, be 
customer focused/oriented, work effectively and be comfortable using data to gain insights.  

Desired skills: 

● Minimum 2 years of software development experience in one or more of the following 

languages and frameworks: JavaScript / TypeScript (AngularJS/ReactJS and NodeJS. 
● Experience developing production applications 
● Experience with writing API’s 
● Effectively  use  tools  and  ingenuity  to  identify  and  fix  defects/bugs  before  they  become  a 
problem 
● Experience with architecting and developing scalable solutions    
● Experience integrating with third party services 
● Values clean and maintainable code with extensive test coverage 
● Eye for design aesthetic and appreciation of human centered design 
 
Additional experience with the following will be helpful:    
 
• Deep analytical skills and an ability to abstract concepts    
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a can do attitude  
• Self-starter, project finisher and adaptable, congenial colleague    
• Excellent communication and cross group collaboration skills, ability to deal with ambiguity    
• Large-scale application development    
• Experience with React and React Native    
• Cross-platform application development on iOS, Android, Windows and modern web browsers
