Placement Officers Training, Bangalore February 2019

Placement Officers Training - POT : Placement is a crucial interface between the stages of
completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employment.
Recognising the need for the training during the year planning session held at QUEST Alliance office,
Ahmedabad. In continuation to the plan a promotional mail was sent to all the SKIP Member
institutions dated 11 January 2019. A total of 29 registrations were received online & 4 offline
courier. The objective of the workshop was to create a Campus placements Cell organizes programs
like, Mock interviews, group discussions, case studies, etc. Which, also includes Personality
development, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Career planning and career mapping and
Interview Techniques.

The main objective of the training was to create a suitable employment to the students through the
placement officers training. Throughout the program, the team comprising of Mr. Saswathan &
Mr. Sreejith from Quest Alliance conducted the training. The instructors were given the best in terms
of theoretical inputs as well as activities based leaning. Each & every individual in the training were
given ample of opportunity to explore themselves, their skills, talents, qualities and above all they
were taken into a journey that enable them to explore various methodologies in teaching techniques
and develop their potentialities.
The facilitators often used a number of other resources in order to make the sessions interesting,
effective and meaningful. Very often, each of the sessions were supported by subject related
materials or that which were quite relevant to the topic. Besides, in order to remove the learner’s
boredom and disinterestedness of the learners, the facilitators complemented their facilitation
process through role plays, chart presentation, extra researches, competitions and other games.
