Week 2: From 22-May-2019 To 28-May-2019

Expected Work:
i. Study of layout specification of major machines, equipments and raw materials/
components used.

Day Activities Carried Out

On day one, our sir introduced us about his company, about him, about his
1 designation, about his partners, about his workers, etc. Also, our sir
introduced himself to us we did vice versa were introduced. He allotted us
timing and schedule for particular batches.
On the second day our mentor Sharik Shaikh taught us about the company
history and how it was formed .we were shown the latest configuration
2 computers and other machines. He briefly described about the technologies
that they us.

On this day we were introduced about web designing. We were taught

about the usage of it and what languages are used to develop a web
3 application. We also learned how to download and install WordPress
software.

On this day our mentor introduced us about the project on which we are
going to work. We also learned what are the software that we are going to
4 use.He asked us about how many languages we are familiar to. We told him
about some of the languages we’ve studied so far which includes C, C++,
JAVA, .net, etc. He told us to perform a simple program on JAVA.
On this day we were learned everything about Web designing, we learned
how to run html files including the basic knowledge of html and basic
5 knowledge about CSS.

On this day we learned the concept of programming language versus

markup language also how to establish connection between html file and
6 CSS file.

Week 3: From 29-May-2019 To 04-June-2019

i. Study of production process along with production planning and control
procedures.

Day Activities Carried Out

On day one, firstly our sir asked us about the programming languages we
1 know. So, now he started introducing web development basics to us. He
taught us how to install WordPress and we also installed XAMPP server.
On second day,we understood the role of browser and server. Our sir asked
us about the general knowledge we’ve about browser. We told him about
2 browser and server basics we knew. We implemented what he taught us and
installed WordPress as well as XAMPP server application for php and SQL
server.
On third day, as we already got to know about basics of CSS (Cascading
Style Sheet). So, our sir taught us how to style headings, paragraph,
3 navigation bar, images, fonts, etc.

On day four, we did the total styling of our website. And our sir introduced
us the role of website server. He took this topic with introduction and a
4 little bit deep knowledge he gave us.

On day five, our sir introduced us about the domain. He told us what
actually a domain is, prices of the domain, quality of the domain and
5 different types of domain.

On day six, we understood the extensions of the domains. (.com, .in, .co,
.co.in, etc.)

Week 4: From 05-June-2019 To 11-June-2019

Expected Work:
i. Study of testing and quality assurance process
List the sections of Industry visited andlist the major testing and quality assurance
process studied there.
Day Activities Carried Out

On the first day of this week, first of all we revised whatever we learned till
1 now. Also, we learned how a browser shows website by interpreting its tags
from html. Later, we studied the basic architecture of web technology.

On the second day, our sir did small type of revision and asked questions
related to our contribution in our internship since the first week.

On day three, our sir conducted a test concerned with our website that
we’ve created.

On fourth day, some students among us who were having doubts related to
html tags.

On day five, we also tried a simple program on JavaScript.

On day six, we learned basic of JavaScript e.g. datatypes, control structures

(if loop, if-else loops, while loop, do-while loop, for loop, etc.).

Week 5: From 12-June-2019 to 19-June-2019

Expected Work: Study of preventive and breakdown maintenance & safety practice adopted in
industry

Day Activities Carried Out

On this day, our sir introduced us about WordPress which included its
1 features.

On day two, we got to know about us page and different types of website
pages that should be present in a website.

On day three, our sir started the session with an example of amazon / e-
commerce websites.

On day four, he gave a thorough explanation about how actually an e-

commerce website works. Our sir told us about the different filters which is
4 included in an e-commerce website.

On fifth day, we got to know more about how the filter works, and then
later implemented it further in our session.

On sixth day, we came to know that Woo Commerce is actually a plugin.

Also, we acquired detailed information about different plugins.

Week 6: From 20-June-2019 To 26-June-2019

Expected Work: Report Writing

List the sections of Industry visited and list the major manual/ broachers such as operational
manual, safety manual, maintenance manual ,quality manual standard referred/studied there for
preparation of report.

Day Activities Carried Out

On first day, our sir told us that as it is the last week of the session we are
1 going to perform a task based on WordPress themes. We downloaded the
themes online as well as installing it manually.
On second day, we started developing a website on the basis of every single
thing we’ve learned till now in WordPress.

On day three, we gave the title of our website, we changed the themes, we
created the about us page, home page, divided the page into different
3 sections and grids.

On day four, we downloaded the images from internet. Later, we inserted

them into our website.

On fifth day, we showed our final website to our mentor. He made slight
changes in our website which resulted into more feasible one.

On day six, we got our respective certificates as it was the last day of our
internship session
