1. The project should be minimum of 8000 words and maximum of 10,000 words.
2. The annexures , graphs tables etc shall not be considered for calculation of words.
3. The Project Synopsis to be submitted to the internal guide within two weeks of starting
the summer project. It should clearly explain the project scope and reason for selecting
the subject /topic in detail. Also objectives, methodology should be enclosed.
4. Students must submit three hard bound copies of the Project Report to the guide by the
date which will be specified on the notice board.
5. A rough draft of the project report must be submitted to the guide on completion of the
project. Only on acceptance of draft project report(hard copy) by the guide ,the
student should make the final copies.
a) The Report shall be typed on white paper.A4 size or continuous stationary bond
,for the final submission .The report to be submitted to the University of Pune
must be original and subsequent copies may be photocopies on any paper.
b) The typing shall be of standard letter size, double spaced and on one side of the
paper only, using black ribbons and black carbons.
c) Margins
The typing must be done in the following margins
Left………. 35mm Right ………..20mm
Top ……….35 mm Bottom………20mm
d) Binding
The report shall be rexin bound in black, Plastic and spiral bound will not be
accepted.

TOP:
The title in block letters of 6mm -15mm letters
CENTRE:
Full name of the student in block capitals of 6mm to 10mm letters
BOTTOM
Name of the University,Institute,Year of submission all in block letters-6mm to
10mm letters on separate line with spacing and centering
f) At the beginning and end of the report ,two white sheets should be provided.

Chapter Numbering
Section and subsections of any chapter shall be in decimal notation. All chapters
shall begin on a new page. The titles for the chapter and the title shall be properly
centered at the top of the page and have three spaces between them

Bibliography :
A bibliography is the listing of the work that is relevant to the main topic of the
research interest arranged in the alphabetical order of the last names of the author (s).
A reference list is a subset of the bibliography, which includes details of all the
citation used in the literature survey and elsewhere in the report, arranged again, in
the alphabetical order of the last names of the author(s).
At least three modes of referencing are followed in the business research. These are
based on the format provided in the publication manual of the American
Psychological Association (APA), (2001), the Chicago Manual Style (1993), and the
Turabian style (1996).
Each of these style specifies with examples, how books, journals, newspapers,
dissertations and other documentation materials are to be referenced in the
manuscript. Since the APA format is followed for referencing by many journals in
the management area, the monograph will highlight the distinctions in how books,
journals, newspapers, dissertations and other documentation materials are referenced
using APA format as specimen referencing format below :
