    B) PRIOR TO BUNKERING

    1 Inspect hose and couplings for damage

    2 Check weight of hose does not exceed SWL of vessel’s lifting gear

    3 Place drip trays under hose couplings and flanges

    4 Check delivery note quantity and specification are correct

    5 Discuss bunkering plan with supplier

    6 Discuss vessel’s emergency response procedures with supplier

    7 Discuss supplier own emergency response procedure

    8 Establish communication link between vessel and supplier and to note down
    the working Channel of VHF . Working Channel:_____________

    9 Agree signaling system with supplier a) Commence Pumping

    b) Reduce Pumping rate

    c) Cease pumping

    d) Emergency stop

    10 Agree with supplier , the quantity, unit of measurement (metric ton , cubic
    meter , etc.) of oil to be pump aboard

    11 Confirm loading rate and max. allowable loading rate

    C) DURING & ON COMPLETION

    DURING BUNKERING

    1 Commence bunkering at minimum pumping rate

    2 Monitor supply line pressure

    3 Examine hose connections for leakage

    4 Reduce pumping rate and /or open next tank before topping up

    5 Close valves as each tank is completed

    6 Ensure sufficient ullage in tank for hose draining / line blowing

    7 Give supplier timely warning to stop pumping

    8 Drain hoses on completion of bunkering and close all filling valves

    ON COMPLETION OF BUNKERING
    No ITEM
    1 Witness , date , jointly countersign and retain sealed bunker samples

    2 Ensure all hoses are fully drained

    3 Close and blank off manifold

    4 Reconfirm all bunker line and tank filling valves are secured

    5 Reconfirm all bunker tank soundings

    6 Verify all bunker receipt details are correct

    7 Complete entry in oil record book
