A Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics for Grade 7 students

Of Poona Piagapo Central Integrated School

Duration: 1 hour
I. Objectives:
At the end of this period the students should be able to:
1. Define and identify the set of integers.
2. Add and illustrate integers using number line.
3. Observe neatness among one’s work.

II. Learning Content:


A. Fundamental Operations on Integers: Addition of Integers
B. Reference: E-Math Book for Grade 7 Students by Orlando Oronce and
Marilyn O. Mendoza pages 35-37.
C. Instructional Materials: E-Math Book for Grade 7, Cartolina chart and
flashcards.

Definition of terms:
1. Set of integers
- Consist of all positive whole numbers,
all negative whole numbers, and zero.
2. Positive integers
- Integers that is greater than zero.
3. Negative Integers
- Integers that are less than zero.

This activity is about table containing letters with


problem operations. Each group has a task to the
table to add the given integers using number line.
Each group must solve the problem on the table.
After, every group will discuss their activity work
provided with his/her guided questions.
