In life, my secondary needs would be to be appreciated, loved and accepted in the community by
others. As a normal living human being I also have “WANTS”, I would like to have a lot of money
to buy what I want. Money has the potential to make me have a new video game, a new
computer, new picture frame for my room and new soccer boots. I would also like to have my
own wife and kids when I have grown up.

UNLIMTED WANTS OF SOUTH AFRICAN INDIVIDUALS AND SOCIETY

Unlimited Wants is: A basic condition of human existence which means that people are
never totally satisfied with the quantity and variety of goods and services they
consume. It means that people never get enough, that there's always something else
that they would want or need. Unlimited wants and needs are one half of the
fundamental problem of scarcity that has plagued humanity since the beginning of
time. The other half of the scarcity problem is limited resources.

UNLIMITED WANTS START AT A VERY EARLY STAGE OF OUR LIVES !!!!

In South Africa we are now facing the

demands from the society whereby
“STUDENTS IN UNIVERSITIES “ are on the
fees must fall campaign and want free
education for those who can not afford. We
have societies which are demanding free
housing from the government which forms part of the project for reconstruction and
development. Government can not make up with the demand because of maybe global and
domestic economic constraints. Another factor to consider is that budget is trying to satisfy
unlimited wants with limited resources. I think that is when reality begins to assist us to understand
what it is that we are grappling with?
