City Living Sims4 PC Version 1.24.102.1020 / Mac Version 1.24.102.1220 (October 27, 2016)

November Patch Update: PC Version 1.24.112.1010 / Mac Version 1.24.112.1210 (November

15, 2016)

The following is posted at both MC and Woohoo's Description Pages. READ IT!!!

You MUST have at least PC Version PC Version 1.24.112.1010 / Mac Version

1.24.112.1210 of the Sims 4 or this mod will NOT work!! Don't post on the forums
with a lower version and ask why it's not working for you!! You've been told!! Right
here!!! Top of the page!!!

Latest Sims4 Patch Notes from Official Forums are always available here.

Current MC Version 3.0.2 (November 24, 2016)

Nov 25 there was a hotfix uploaded for the OCCULT Module ONLY. It was throwing an error at
game load.

Change Log, Version 3.0.2 (CL patch > EP release, San Myshuno Support added)

Change Log, Version 3.0.1 (bug fixes)

Change Log, Version 3.0.0 (initial post-patch MC update, more detailed notes.)

If you do not at LEAST have the CL patch released October 27, 2016 for Sims4 installed,
there's not much reason for you to worry about reading any more of the MC or Woohoo
information in this guide, until after you've taken care of that.

However, there is some game installation/update information included that you might find
useful.

Check MC comments for more updated info.

Best Download Option for MC is to get the AllModules file. (You don't have to install
everything, the only REQUIRED parts are the mc_cmd_center package and ts4script files.)

McCmdCenter_AllModules_3_0_2.zip | Description: A combined zip file with all of the modules

included in one download. If you download this, you don't need any of the other individual
packages including the 'McCmdCenter_ScriptAndPackage.'

Best idea: Check the mod’s website Files section, and open the magnifying glass beside the
AllModules zip, for the most up-to-date info.
Here's my best MC installation suggestion:

Whether you have MC dropped into /Mods or in /Mods/MC (for example), you should DELETE
*all* of your existing MC-related .PACKAGE and .TS4SCRIPT files.

Sorting your folder by TYPE places all your .package and your .ts4script files together. It’s Very
Easy this way to select them for deletion. (Leaving the .cfg and other files in the folder will
save your settings.)

THEN, download the McCmdCenter_AllModules_3_x_x.zip, Open it, Select All files, and Copy
To... wherever your settings file is, /Mods or /Mods/MC (etc). Then do the same for the Woohoo
module, if you also play with it.

Note: Script Mods will only work ONE subfolder deep. Mods/MC will work fine, but
“Mods/Scripts/MC” would NOT work. Also, all parts of MC need to be in the SAME folder.

Do NOT put the zipped download in your Mods/MC folder. That causes issues with the game
trying to load MC twice (at least), from both the ts4scripts AND the zipped files. Big mess. Trust
me, don't do it. It's been done, and nothing good ever comes of it.

MC 3.0.2 Installed:
The ts4script files all need to say 11/24/2016 (at least, any date after that will be fine), until the
next update to MC is released.

The two (if you also have woohoo installed) package files dates Will Change, as translators
provide new languages to be included, and Deaderpool adds them to the packages.

Any .bak, .cfg and .log files will generate when they’re needed.

Deaderpool also wrote a standalone utility allowing you to switch between different
mc_settings.cfg files. Excellent for having two (or more) saves going at one time, for instance
one Legacy and one normal game. It's available from MC's Files page.

MC Settings Profiler.zip | Description: Utility for allowing different players to have different
MC Command Center setting configurations. Requires .Net 4.5.

40960 2016-10-12 13:50 MC Settings Profiler.exe

177 2016-10-12 13:51 Settings.xml

--------- -------

44594 3 files

Just put the extracted files in their own folder. The first time you run it, you’ll tell it path info.
First time using it is the hardest, after you see it in action, it’s pretty easy to work with.

Profiler.txt contains instructions.

Woohoo at SXS

Current version is 3.0.2 and requires MC Command Center with a major release version of
3.0.2.
3.0.2 is a HOTFIX release that affects multiple modules so it is being released as a full
release and all modules should be redownloaded. It is not considered a minor release.

Alternate Dropbox Link for those having trouble with the SXS site is HERE.

NOTE: Your versions of MC Command Center and MC Woohoo MUST BE THE SAME, or things
will NOT work properly.

***Woohoo 3.0.2 REQUIRES MC 3.0.2 to Run.***

If you mix up module versions, if MC even loads in the first place, you're either going to see weird
things happen, or nothing at all, and there will probably be either mc log errors or LastException
files generated.

If you play with both parts, any time you update one, update BOTH. Just to be safe.
About Accessing MC Woohoo:

We get messages pretty often at both MTS and SXS from people having trouble accessing either
the woohoo download, or the site in general.

Top fixes:
 clear your browser cache (most recommended)
 refresh the page a few times
 try a different browser

Some people can get to the comments, but can’t get the download to work. As long as you can
get to the Description Page, pictured above, you can get to the Woohoo module.

That WHOLE LINE near the bottom of what’s pictured, next to the green check mark, is a
Clickable Link to a Dropbox copy of the current version of mc_woohoo.

You won't see the green “outline” box at the website, I added that to the picture to emphasize
where the link is. People miss it pretty often. The green circled check mark IS on the page.

For Woohoo, Deaderpool updates the Dropbox link first anyway.

TL;DR: “Alternate Download” link (see picture) for Woohoo works fine.

If you absolutely can't get onto the site at all, please PM me at officials. Or at MTS.
I have a list of people I already help with this issue.
Now, back to post-game-patch “turn it all back on” instructions:

If your folder looks similar to the MC 3.0.2 installed picture (depending on what OPTIONAL
modules you choose to install), start your game.

Following a Sims4 game update (patch), you are VERY Likely to see THIS pop-up in the center of
your screen (I just cropped it for space/size).

Don’t panic! The fix is on the next page.

Open your Game Options/Other tab. You’ll see this:

To re-enable your mods/cc, Make sure the TWO "Mods" check boxes dealing with scripts/mods
on the left side of the Game Options > Other tab are both checked.

Then Apply your changes, Exit, and restart the game.

On your way into the game, check to see that your MC files show up in the cc/script mods pop-up
window.

mc_cmd_center and mc_woohoo .package files will both show up in the CC (top) part of the
window.

This screenshot doesn’t show all the .ts4script modules listed. Besides the main Script & Package
module, the others are: Career, CAS, Cheats, Cleaner, Clubs, Dresser, Gedcom, Occult,
Population, Pregnancy, Tuner and of course Woohoo (which is *not* downloadable from MTS).
NEW for MC 3.x!!!

MC will not work from Map View. MC works from any "live" home or community lot, you only
need a computer or in-world Slablet to access the Main UI, and a Mailbox to access MC
Cheats.

In the game, you can check your MC install by going onto a Live lot. IF everything is working
properly, you'll see a Notification like this, showing the various modules you have installed.
(I play with all of them.)

If that blue message doesn't come up, check out the Troubleshooting tips from MC's
Description page, copied (with light editing) here, starting on the next page.
Some Troubleshooting Steps to try if you can't tell if the mod is loaded or not
• The troubleshooting PDF included with the mod may have more details about some of these
topics, so it is recommended to look through that as well.

• You can look in Game Options/Other/Custom Content and the mods should show-up as
loaded in the Script Mods section. Make sure you have the checkbox on Game
Options/Other checked for allowing script mods.

• As of version 1.13 of Sims 4 (Get Together Expansion), any time EA releases an update, they
are forcing the settings of the game to have mods disabled. Ensure that if an update from
EA has just been applied that both checkboxes for Mods are enabled: the checkbox for
enabling mods and the checkbox for enabling script mods.

• When the game starts, a notification message will pop-up with the current version of MC
Command Center deployed and all of the modules that are currently included on your
game. If this doesn't display or if all of the modules are not displayed, then there is
something wrong, so continue looking through the troubleshooting steps.

• If it does display, then the mod is loaded correctly. Additionally, you should be able to
click on a computer in a game lot or on a Sim and see a "MC Command Center" menu.

• If the mod is loaded but you can't tell if it's working (you haven't seen pregnancies or
move-in notifications), turn on logging in mc_settings.cfg by setting Logging_Enabled to
"true" instead of "false". (MC UI Path: Computer > MC > MCCC Settings >
Notification/Console/Menu Settings > Notifications) When you run the game and your
home lot loads, if you go to your mod folder and open the mc_cmd_center.log file, it should
have "Initializing Alarms" at the top of the file. Every night at midnight, alarms will run and
this log file will have updates in it telling what happened for that day when the alarm ran.

• If the mc_cmd_center.log file doesn't exist, but according to the Game

Options/Other/Custom Content window, the script mods are all loaded, you may have a
version problem. You can look at the LastExceptions.txt file in the Sims 4 folder to
determine if that's the case.

• You should verify that your mods folder looks similar to the screenshot provided earlier.
The dates and sizes of the modules may be different if the screenshot is older, but the
location and names should be similar.

• You should ensure that you have at least version 1.9.80 of the Sims 4, or your game will not
detect the ts4script extension. That was added in that update from EA. It is recommended
that you have the version displayed in the compatibility section above as that is the
version I have tested with and know for sure everything works correctly with. Usually,
later versions will work ok, unless there are discussions in the Comments currently about a
very recent release breaking functionality that I am updating.
• There are some mods that are known to conflict with MC Command Center. This is
usually caused by functionality in those mods that is already in MC Command Center, so a
separate mod is not needed and causes problems. There may be other mods that we aren't
aware of. Sometimes custom-content other than mods can cause problems as well if
they are old and haven't been updated. Some of EA's patches breaks custom objects or
clothing items as well and sometimes it can prevent mods from working correctly if they are
deployed. Some examples of known mods that cause problems are:

• Autosave for Sims 4 by sachamagne

• "Neia's No More Same Sims Everywhere" mod.
• TwistedMexi's Always Testingcheats mod, but I'm not sure if it works even on its own or
not.
• As of version 1.13 of Sims 4 (Get Together Expansion), I believe scumbumbo's Pregnancy
Mega Mod also causes some problems but I don't think these are conflicts, I just think it
doesn't work as-of that update. PMM options should all be available from the MC
Pregnancy module.
• The "Sticky Clothes" Mod by MaximiliumM conflicts with my mod as I also have that
functionality built-in to MC Command Center automatically.
• Cowplant Tweaks from kylebeans doesn't seem to be supported any longer and can cause
issues when in use.
• After checking those things, I can help analyze things, but there are basic steps you can
take to make it easier to figure-out what is wrong.

• A screenshot of your mod folder can be helpful.

• A screenshot of your "Game Options/Other/Custom Content" window showing the

script mods that are loaded will help.

• A copy of your mc_cmd_center.log file can be helpful, depending on the problem.

• A copy of the LastException.txt file from the Sims 4 folder can be helpful.

• Vague comments like "it's not working"...not so helpful.
