John Ross, the film star died yesterday.

At half past eight in the evening there was two shots and
John Ross was dead. It wasn’t an accident. Somebody killed him.

When I arrived, John Ross was in the library. He was lying on the floor and he was dead. Somebody
shot him down.

The gun was next to him, but it was clean and there were no fingerprints on it. I checked the room.
The windows were closed. There was some oil on the floor and the handle of the library door.

I checked the other rooms. In the living room, the door was open, and the televison was on. There
were fingerprints of Donna Ross on it. In the dining room, there was a broken glass and some red
wine on the floor. In the kitchen, there were some apples on the desk and a black knife.

There were four other people in the house that evening: Wilson, the butler; Mrs Clare, the cook;
Adams, the chauffeur and Mr Ross’s stepdaughter, Donna. Mrs Clare was in the kitchen. She was
making an apple pie. Wilson was drinking a glass of wine in the dining room. Donna Ross was in the
living room, and she was watching the TV. She said, Adams was with her. Adams said, he was in the
living room with Donna, and at half past eight they heard two shots. Adams ran to the library and
found Mr Ross’s dead body.

There were no fingerprints of Adams in the living room, but he was repairing the car outside. His
hand became oily. John Ross didn’t support his stepdaughter and the chauffeur’s love. So Adams
killed him, and Donna lied they were together.

Mr Ross mostohalánya, Donna. Mrs Clare a konyhában volt. Almás pitét készített. Wilson az
ebédlőben ivott egy pohár bort. Donna Ross a nappaliban nézte a tv-t. Azt mondta, Adams is vele
volt. Adams azt mondta, Donnával volt a nappaliban, amikor fél kilenckor két lövést halott. A
könyvtárba rohant, ahol megtalálta Mr Ross holtestét.

A nappaliban nem volt Adams ujjlenyomata, de szerelte a kocsit odakint. A keze olajos lett. John Ross
nem támogatta a mostohalánya és a sofőr szerelmét. Ezért Adams megölte őt, Donna pedig azt
hazudta, hogy együtt voltak.
