DCPD7/DCPD7A Power Distribution Unit

Functions >>

The DCPD7/DCPD7A power distribution unit is applicable to a low-voltage DC power distribution system. Connected in serial between the DC power supply and system
devices, it protects devices from surge pulses and transient over-voltage due to external causes (for example, lightning and electromagnetic radiation interference) or internal
causes (for example, system effect of opening and closing breakers, starting and stopping of inductive loads and capacitive loads).

The DCPD7/DCPD7A power distribution unit functions as the power distribution unit for an indoor/outdoor distributed base station system (BBU+RRU). It has the following
features:

• Implements two-input and 10-output power distribution.

• Provides a large discharge current and a low residual voltage.

• Contains a built-in lightning protection board, which provides lightning protection and surge protection for the LLVD1 output side when the first power-down is implemented.

• Provides a telesignaling alarm interface (dry contact signals).

• Uses a metal shell, and provides a protection rating of IP2X. It is installed indoors, providing a sound fire-retardant capability.

• Uses the front-cabling method, with which the cabling does not require additional space.

The DCPD7 and the DCPD7A have the same external view. They differ in the maximum current of the input and output circuits. Planning personnel can perform configurations
as needed. For detailed information, refer to Table 1.
