Do the following project with your friend!

1. You and your friend go out for a lunch in a cafe!

2. Choose a cafe which have someone serve your order!
3. While you and your friend order something, have your
phone record your dialogue with the waiter/waitress!
4. After you done with the meal and go home, write down the
conversation you and your friend had with the waiter! (If it
is in Bahasa Indonesia, translate in into English)
5. Present your work to your teacher!

Waitress : “Hello, Welcome to Hidup Baru”.

Grace & Elisabeth : “Hello miss”.

Waitress : “Please be seated. Here’s the menu. I’ll return in a moment to

take your order”.

Grace : “ I order fried rice, how about you Elisabeth?”

Elisabeth : “mmm wait, all look delicious”

Grace : “ ya ya ya, I think you need to order what you never taste before”

Elisabeth : “ah yeah, you’re right. I want Internet Kari Komplit”

Grace : “Ok, wait I’ll call the waitress”

Grace : “miss, come here , please!”

Waitress : “ Are you ready to order?”

Elisabeth : “Yes, sure.”

Waitress : “What would you like to have?”

Grace : “a plate of fried rice and a plate of Internet Kari Komplit, please”

Waitress : “I’m sorry all of the main dishes has been sold out”

Elisabeth : “oh, no problem. So, what kind of dishes can we have?”

Waitress : “just snack, like doughnut and bolen”

Grace : “can you tell me about the doughnut’s topping please”

Waitress : “there’s strawberyy jam, chocolate, tiramisu, sweet cheese,
and moca”

Elisabeth : “I order doughnut with Strawberry jam and chocolate

topping, please”

Grace : “mmm, I want two doughnuts with Tiramisu topping, please”

Waitress : “And what would you like for the drink?”

Elisabeth (wishpered to Grace) : “I don’t like coffee”

Grace : “Ah, Thank you but we are not in the mood to drink coffee,you
see miss”.

Waitress : “ah, I can understand. Wait a moment”.

Waitress : “ Here your doughnuts. Enjoy the snack”

Elisabeth : “Thank you miss”

Grace : “Excuse me, May I have the bill?”

Waitress : “ah yeah, sure.”

Elisabeth (pay the bill) : “Thank you”

Waitress : “You are welcome and thank you for visiting our cafe”.
