and Project Assistant I on temporary basis, initially for a period of one year.

Essential:
 Master’s Degree in Oceanography/ Ocean
Science/Marine Geology or equivalent from a
recognized university with at least 60% marks
or equivalent grade in qualifying degree with
minimum 5 years of experience afer Master’s
degree in the feld of coastal processes,

oceanographic/ marine geology data
collecton, numerical modelling and data
processing.
Desirable:
 Ph.D. or Research Experience in the above
specialized field as evidenced by published
papers
Essential:
 Post-graduate degree in Geology/ Marine
02 Project AssistantII 2 Nos Geology from a recognized University
Desirable:
 Experience in geological field work
Essential:
 Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in
Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Physics
or equivalent from a recognized university with
at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in
03 Project Assistant I 1 No qualifying degree
Desirable:
 Experience in handling of Marine Instruments,
setting up of marine instruments & processing
of recorded data; Beach Profiling and Sediment
sample collection

Age limit and Remuneration

of certificates and mark lists showing educational qualifications, experience, age etc. and
original certificates and mark lists for verification.

The decision of the Director, NCESS in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or
rejection of applications shall be final and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained
in this connection from any individual.
