Blend Sorting
These blends sorting mats are great for building blend recognition.

To prepare: Print on card stock and/or laminate.

Cut apart the pictures and the apples.

Optional:
Put velcro dots on the back of the apples and affix them to the blend cards. I highly recommend
clear velcro dots for this.

Provide your students with several blends and allow them to sort and match the beginning sounds

We like to put our pieces in a sensory bin to add an extra level of fun.
