- Ensayo marshall
- Ensayo de gravedad especifica
- Gradacion del asfalto
- METODO DE MEZCLA SUPERPAVE(USA)

Good afternoon to my colleagues, the teacher and the juries, my presentation is to

evaluate the effectiveness in relation to the duration cost in the use of recycled
asphalt to create a homogeneous mixture that meets the basic specifications when
assembling the asphalt folder.
The place and material you want to analyze is the parking lot of the engineering
faculty at the University of Cauca, since it shows a bit of wear and tear on your way
so you want to see if the old folder will serve as a support to create the new mix
Below we can see some relevant aspects to consider in the construction of this
type of road.
You can also appreciate in American currency the average price of creating an
asphalt folder like the one you are looking for.
All these aspects can be corroborated first with a series of tests such as:
- Trial marshall
- Specific gravity test
- Gradation of the asphalt
- SUPERPAVE MIXING METHOD (USA)
This paper presents an experimental study to characterize the mechanical
behaviour of bituminous mixtures containing high rates of reclaimed asphalt
pavement (RAP). Two semi-dense mixtures of 12 and 20 mm maximum aggregate
size and containing 40% and 60% RAP, respectively (S-12 and S-20, in
accordance with Spanish specifications), which were used for rehabilitation of a
highway section, were evaluated. First, the effect of RAP variability on the recycled
mixtures was analyzed. Their mechanical properties were then studied by
determining the stiffness modulus and indirect tensile strength and cracking and
fatigue behaviour. Results show that high rates of recycled material can generally
be incorporated into bituminous mixes by proper characterization and handling of
RAP stockpiles.
