Novena becomes the tradition of every catholic people, in this juncture we uses
mouth to utter the specific prayer to this specific event,aside from that it also
includes our intentions, petitions and certain request to god and by grabbing this
oppurtunity to acknowledge him for everything we have right now and will have
in the next future. Novena is not about controlling outcomes yet indeed opening
widely our heart and soul to god and making our connection and relationship to
god adhere. In this prayer we are obliged to left out all the burdens that makes us
more dim and obstructed by what is in the world of reality. In this time we must
set our mind focus on what really matter on this life.

Opening Song
(Stella Maris )
Kung itong aming paglalayag
Inabot ng pagkabagabag
Nawa'y mabanaagan ka
Hinirang na tala ng umaga

Kahit alon man ng pangamba

Di alintana sapagkat naro'n ka
Ni unos ng pighati
At kadiliman ng gabi

chorus:
Maria sa puso ninuman
Ika'y tala ng kalangitan
Ningning mo ay walang pagmamaliw
Inang sinta, Inang ginigiliw

Tanglawan kami aming ina

Sa kalangitan naming pita
Nawa'y maging hantungang
Pinakamimithing kaharian (chorus)

Opening Prayer

Most Gracious and Loving Heavenly Father, we worship and glorify your holy
name. We seek for your blessing to bless our brothers and sisters who travelled
to foreign country to work hard and earn money to send to their family. Guide
them Oh Lord to the right path so that they won't be lost even if they are
overboard. Grant them safety as they take their journey from their beloved
home. As they reach their destination Oh God, may they find peace with their
new environment. May they find friends so that they will feel they are not alone.
May they find caring and good employers. Lord, I've humbly ask for your
guidance to watch over them so that they will be okay. Whatever they are
doing,keep them from any harm and danger while working or staying. Protect
them from any illnesses and diseases so that they will be fruitful. Heavenly
Father, watch over also the people they left behind. Let their love to each other
remains fruitful. Let their husbands or wife away from temptation that will lead
to family conflict. Strengthen their hearts and mind to bear each other's longing
from one another. Tightens their family bonds so that they won't be broken. Let
their children free from danger but rather be secured and responsible. And most
of all,do not let them depart from you. This we ask through Christ your Son and
our Lord. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done

Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Amen.
