Key achievements
• To understand and develop the methods for the
microbiological experiments and modelling in Hospital
• To develop experimental methods for in-situ surface sampling,
colony categorization and microorganism identification
• To evaluate model characteristics at 6 different aspects
including pathogenicity, environmental survival,

 environmental abundance, infection severity, the treatment
cost and the transmission ability
• To analyze the six surface categorization scenarios i.e. the
location, item function, association to patients, clinical
significance and the type of touch
• Estimate the hierarchical clustering of above mentioned
surface parameters

Jan 2017 - May 2017 Effects of ZnO nanoparticles on the performance of anaerobic
membrane bioreactor AnMBR (score: 95 %)

Key Responsibilities and achievements:

• Designed laboratory-scale AnMBR to determine the effect of
ZnO nanoparticles upon wastewater treatment
• Estimation and calculation of COD microbial products,
soluble microbial products (SMP) and the extracellular
polymeric substance (EPS) in the sludge sample was
performed
• Monitoring of biogas yield and trans-membrane pressure
(TMP) parameters to find out the influential ones
• Performed sludge DNA abstraction, 16sRNA analysis for the
estimation of microbial community
• Investigated Three-dimensional excitation emission matrix
