NARRATIVE REPORT OF CLASS B

The Schools Division of Ilocos Sur through the Curriculum Implementation


Division conducted a two-day training on the Enhancement of Pedagogical Skills in
Teaching Reading in Mother Tongue and Bridging Process for Grades1-3 Teachers
last July 3-4,2019 at Hotelinda Suites, Vigan City.

It aimed at enhancing the competencies of teachers in teaching reading in the


MTB; demonstrate skill/competence in the use of innovative methodologies and
strategies; and design contextualized classroom activities and prepare localized
instructional materials.

Participants comprised of three (3) teachers, Grades 1 to 3 in particular from


the 28 districts of the division with a total of 84 which was divided into two classes.

The training started with a plenary opening program graced by the Schools
Division Office Heads led by Ms. Gemma Q. Tacuycuy.

Although it only lasted for two days, participants were able to enjoy, respond
actively to the activities presented and worked on the outputs required of them.
Participants were able to enjoy sumptuous meals catered by the serve
providers and enjoyed the comfortable ambiance of the learning spaces for them.
It ended successfully with a plenary closing program.
