Critique Paper
“RELIGION”
In my honest opinion, religion plays an essential role in our spiritual life. After I listened to the
report about religion, I was brainwashed with the fact that there were many religions exist in
every part of the world. I was open-minded that time. It was totally surprised me. My
knowledge about religion was so limited compared to others. With that lack of information, I
was interested with the report. Moreover, I realized that it’s not right to stock in one belief that
you know that was right. There’s nothing wrong to be an open-minded person, and there’s
nothing wrong to questioned the existence of any god. The most important for me is that you
know the truth and nothing but the truth.

Based on my observation, most of the people living in this world believed in something or
someone that is supernatural from all of us. They believed into something or someone that they
know will help them to live in eternal life. I am not in the side of being religious nor being
atheist. I’m neutral when it comes to that matter. But I was curious most of the time. Imagine
if there is someone who believes and gives his faith into someone or something. And if there
were a lot of people living in any part of the world with similar condition on the latter, imagine
the chaos. Some people’s faith was from christianity, other from islam, other from judaism,
other from hinduism, other from buddhism and etc. But my question is if there is only one god
exists in our world, only one who is superior which of the said religions is the one? Knowing
that every of them have different kind of beliefs and faith.But which is the one? Im just
wondering. What if there has no god. Let’s just take the benifit of the doubt that maybe as a
people we just creating something in our mind. Something that limits our mind to think and
think just to discover ideas. That maybe there has no miracle. Like, success will just happen if
you gave your effort to do the work just to achieved it. It just like the third law of motion
according to Isaac Newton which is the law of interaction. Someone said that the reason why
people failed is just because they lacked in faith in worshipping god. My side about this is
maybe people failed in something because they didn’t do their part. They didn’t give their
effort.

Overall, don’t limit our mind into something that made us to focus on one thing. Let’s just be
a good example to others who don’t believe the existence of god and to others who have gave
their whole life and faith. We just only need is to RESPECT.
