ANSWER

Comes now the DEFENDANT, assisted by counsel, hereby depose

that:

1. She admits the contents of paragraph 1 and to insofar as her

personal circumstances are concerned.
2. She admits that a contract of lease has been entered into
between parties.
3. She admits the obligation to pay the amount as stipulated in the
contract however avers that her failure of to pay the rental fees
beginning February 2019 was due to the refusal of the plaintiff
to receive payment
4. That the increase in the rental fees was done by mere notice
from the herein Plaintiff from P3000.00 to P5000.00 without the
prior approval of the herein defendant.
5. That the Plaintiff has refused to receive payment in the amount
of P3000.00 and has demanded to receive the complete
amount of P5000.00
6. That the defendant vehemently denies the allegations
enunciated on paragraph 6,7 and 8 of the complaint.
7. That as stipulated in the contract of lease, the herein defendant
may only be compelled to pay P3000.00 monthly rentals and
not the increased amount of P5000.00.
8. That the continued refusal of the Plaintiff was beyond the
defendant’s own volition.
9. That except those specifically admitted, the defendant denies
all other allegations in the complaint.

WHEREFORE, the defendant respectfully prays that the

complaint be dismissed with costs against the plaintiff other
relief and remedies that the court may deem proper.
