TIGER LOOK
1. Roar- Katy Perry
This song of Katy Perry, as a whole, means about overcoming challenges in life and that
the hardships entering in our lives is just a matter of our ability to rise up in difficult
situations. Particularly, the lyric “eye of the tiger” wants to embark a message of courage
and determination. Like a tiger’s eye, we should be able to release our fear and anxiety to
make decisions in life with discernment so that we could be able to fight for it no matter
what.

2. Eye of the Tiger- Survivor

Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger clearly embodies the characters of a focused, confident, and
has the ability to be passionate. In a slang term, it is the ‘never-say-die’ attitude of a
person. In addition, for that, we could reflect that this song is closely similar to the
message of Roar. More than that, it got to my observation that both these songs talked
about the competence of a true fighter amidst of his/her past failures in life.

3. We are the Champions- Queen

Comparing all the songs, it is implied that there is no man who does not undergo in a
certain failure or hardship, which may let him down for a mean time. Nevertheless, if
he/she has the heart to win in life, then he/she should be able to have a coping mechanism
of whatever valid option to cross these obstacles. In this way, he/she would become
triumphant in life because of his journey and not to his destination of success.
