Saint-Gobain Proppants
Well Worth It™
S
aint-Gobain Proppants understands what’s riding on every well you drill. For
more than 40 years, we’ve been manufacturing high-quality, high-performance
ceramic proppants that not only meet, but exceed, rigorous downhole
performance requirements — and we back up our commitment to quality products
with competitive pricing and excellent service.
Proppants have a tough job. They must retain fracture geometry and provide
sustainable conductivity to the wellbore at application conditions. How well they
do their job depends on the application environment.
Lightweight Proppants a fact of life that proppant suppliers try to minimize when manufacturing
conventional ceramics. Saint-Gobain Proppants, however, has developed a
way to precisely control the size and placement of these pores to create lower
density proppants that retain high conductivity under high stress conditions,
delivering high-end performance at a very competitive price. We call the
resulting lightweight proppants VersaLite®.
Lightweight Proppants — Retain high conductivity under high stress conditions
• Though the bulk density approaches that of sand- or clay-based ceramics,
Lightweight Proppants maintain most of the strength and conductivity
endurance of our other bauxite-based proppants
• This precision engineering presents a stark contrast to the random distribution
of sometimes very large pores in typical low density ceramics, which
compromise crush resistance and ultimately affect conductivity performance

VersaProp® — Greater strength, conductivity and productivity
Intermediate Strength Proppants • Made from an intermediate bauxite ore that is stronger than similarly priced
economy lightweight ceramics (ELWC)
• Maintains its patented median particle diameter (MPD), even under
tremendous downhole stress
• Delivers higher conductivity per dollar than any other ceramic proppant
over a wide range of stresses
InterProp® — The right combination of performance and value
• Delivers solid, reliable performance in a cost-effective intermediate-
strength proppant
• Particularly well suited to oil wells with low to moderate permeability,
delivering excellent conductivity

High Strength Proppants • Withstands the enormous pressure and closure stresses of deep wells
• Greater conductivity and permeability per dollar than competing
high-strength products, which can translate to reduced fracturing
treatment costs

Designed for the harshest environments, Saint-Gobain’s ultra-high strength
Ultra-High Strength Proppants proppant, Titan™, incorporates new technology and patented materials to deliver
superior performance without superior cost.
Titan™ properties are unique — the specific gravity is similar to traditional sintered
bauxites; the material is then enhanced with ultra-high strength, conductivity
and endurance. By utilizing the industry’s most proven proppant manufacturing
process, the material achieves superior sphericity and roundness at industrial
scale. This unique combination of properties gives our customers the highest
performance/dollar ultra-high strength proppant on the market.
Titan™ is the optimal ultra-high strength proppant for the most extreme reservoir
conditions.
• Extreme depth
• Extreme closure stress
• Extreme temperature
