SMM24
Description
Thorlabs’ SMA-to-SMA Microwave Cables support frequencies from DC up to 26 GHz. Each cable is
terminated with SMA Male connectors on both ends. They are designed to be flexible while maintaining
low-loss performance from DC – 26 GHz. The SMA connector body and center pin are gold-plated. They
are available in lengths of 3", 6", 12", 24", 36", 72", or 120".
The SMA connector can mate directly to a 2.92 mm, 3.5 mm, or K connector.

Typical Performance Plots
The graph above shows the insertion loss for SMA-to-SMA Microwave Cables. The shaded region denotes
the specified operating frequency range for these cables (DC – 26 GHz). Performance outside of this
range is not guaranteed. Ripples in the insertion loss are a function of the cable length and a normal
result of reflections between the ends of the cables. Shorter cables show a greater effect.
