REFLECTION PAPER NUMBER 5

Philippians 4:19
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ
Jesus.”

Yes, we people have wants or desires in our heart that are essentials and some
are luxurious needs that we are hoping to have or achieve. And yes we can achieve it or
have it especially if your needs is good that can help the people around you like your
family, friends and if it’s beneficial for the society and of course if this wants is good for
yourself that can brings you happiness as well as for the people around you. I’m sure,
that these wants of you will be given if you just ask through sincere prayer to our God in
the name of his son Jesus Christ, because nothing is impossible if we have an
enormous faith particularly if the faith comes with hard-work and that’s pretty sure your
needs will be given and even if its luxurious needs of yours.

Like me I have many needs or wants also that I so desiring to have or achieve,
some are material needs and some are not. As what I states on my previous reflection
that during my high school days I want or wish to have a personal computer and I
prayed it to our God and yes this prayer of mine is answered, not instantly but in the
right time, then as I move forward in life many prayers also are answered in the right
time. As well as, let’s keep in mind that if our prayer is not be given or answered we
should remember that God has three answers to our prayer “YES, NOT YET, I HAVE
SOMETHING BETTER IN MIND FOR YOU”. So therefore, we should not be down and
loose hope or worst loose in faith because of our wants or needs that we prayed and
not answered or given to us because maybe our hard-work is not enough or it’s not for
us, for the reason that God has a better plan and his plan is better compares to our plan
and his timing is the best timing. So, we should keep our faith strong and being a hard-
working individual for our family, friends and for society and everything will be all right,
be optimistic and let go of all negativity with that I’m sure we will live happy.

Prayer request
Please pray again, that I will finish and passed all the subjects in my earning
units course and I will be able to take the Licensure exam for teachers soon and passed
it. And please pray that someday I will achieve my dream, to become a Technical
Officer in the Bureau of Corrections. Please pray also for the good health and safety of
my mother that if she will have a cough, running nose or flue will transfer to me so that
my mother will feel okay. Please pray for my baby daughter that she will be away from
harm and she will grow up a healthy and a fine lady. For the mother of my baby and the
rest of my family, please pray also for their safety and for their good health always.
