THE ROLE OF MUHAMMADIYAH’S STUDENT IN ENLIGHTENING THE NATION

FUTURE

First of all lets pray and thankfull to the almighty Allah SWT because of his
blessing, guidance and his inayah we are able to attend in this special ocation.
Secondly, our shalawat and salam always deliver to our uswatun hasanah, our
prophet Muhammad SAW which has brought us from the dark age to the bright
now namely Islam.
In this speech I will deliver my speech entitle Te role of muhammadiyah student
in enlightening the nation future
Ladies and gentleman,
Nowadays we are entering the globalization era which means that all
information, communication, and even other cultures may also enter in our
country. We are facing expetation and challenge in life. The expectation is that
we see the raise of islam, where the mosques and institution of religious are
developing everywhere. However the challenge we face today is western
cultures into our live, especially through television, computer, internet, and the
other that sometime bring a negative effect. In some research mentioned that
one of effect or western culture is the changing the peoples life. Actually we
dont have to be affraid because it lead to a positive effect. For example, a lot of
young generation including student consume drug, or even free sex. As a young
generation, Lets say together” Say No To Drug”, “Say No To Free Sex”, just open
your mind, open your eyes, open your ears and open your heart.
Allah stated in surah An nisa verse nineth (9):

In this surah we can conclude that let them fear to Allah and speak in a right
words.
Ladies and Gentleman
We should be affraid if we become a weak generation wether in physic,
knowledge, and spirit of life. The most dangerous one is the weaknessof faith
and moral. You know..? they will poison our live. If the such of dangers happen
we won’t become a pioneer of developement, but otherwise we will become
virus of national developement. Na’udzubillah hi min dzalik. While the history
taught us in order we have high spirit, responsibility to the survivalof our nation
and religion. “ The youth today is the leader in the future “. Therefore, to create
Indonesia that is safe, peace and religious, we have to carry out the tree
important things so we become an excellent young generation of
Muhammadiyah.
Muhammadiyah Board Student or as we know as IPM has important role to
make all student s become a qualified generation because IPM has a great goal
which is to make moslem student educated and skillful.
The first is dicipline, a Muhammadiyah student has to keep high dicipine and
ontime, and as a young generation we should not be lazy. Because the lazy
person will never taste the sweet of honey but they will sink the bitternes of
bile. There is no happiness without pain, there is no strugle without sacrifces.
The idleness in the youth will be destruction in the old age.
The second is honestly, its one of characteristic of excellent young generation,
the honestly not only to the other person but also to ourselves.
Third, perseverence. The excellent young generation is not easy to give up
because giving up in al aspect is forbidden by our religion.
Ladies and Gentleman
In sumarry when we using three elements in this globalization era, Im sure that
young generation are expected to active to be pioneer of muhammadiyah
developement and Indonesia in general. Then finally Indonesia will be a great
country in all of aspect.
