Rationale:

Under the RA 8435, commonly known as the AFMA of 1997, the Agricultural
Training Institute is mandated to assist the local government unit extension
system by improving their effectiveness and efficiency through capability building
and complementary extension activities such as technical assistance, training of
personnel, improvement of physical facilities and information support services in
coordination with state universities and colleges. ATI acknowledges the need to
reinforce farmers’ training through the provision of Information, Education and
Training Management Team Communication (IEC) materials. Identifying and promoting specific behaviours

The participants of this training are 25 AEWs (ISS), with emphasis


on the newly-established FITS Centers in CaLaBaRZon.

This training shall apply lectures, collaboration, discussion,


workshops and location shoots.
