Assessment: All quizzes and exams will be closed book and closed notes. Quizzes will be conducted outside class hours.
Homework: 10%. Graded by picking 1 or 2 random questions. (n-1 scores used for grading)
Tutorial: 10%. Approximately 10 tutorials will be conducted in the class. They will be graded. (n-1 scores used for grading)
Quizzes: 40%. (4 quizzes. Make-up quizzes only for those with medical certificate.)
End-semester exam: 40%. Closed book and closed notes exam of 3 hour duration.
Attendance policy: Attendance will be taken, but not used for DX grade. Attendance will be used to pass students in
borderline cases.
