I. Introduction

Raymundo (2012) stated that people go crazy over milk tea because of its low price,
refreshing taste health benefits and the store’s ambiance.

According to Jacobson (2009), tea is the second most consumed beverage in the world,
ranking next to water. It provides a healthy alternative to soft drinks, coffee and smoothies.

Weiner (2009) stated that tea grows in thousands of tea gardens and estates around the world
and produces thousands of flavorful variations. Like wines, each tea takes its name from the district
produces tea with unique flavor and character.

 Milk tea product is very popular. It is in-demand in the market because of its
affordability.
 Making milk tea is convenient for the company because most of their members are
trained to make different variables of milk teas.
 Milk tea is flexible to the market because it caters to all ages/ generation.

The company’s target market were all the consumers in the selected area. Milk tea is very
popular at the moment and it caters all generation/ages. Everyone could buy this product because
of its affordability. Also, this product could be flexible in any type of market nowadays.

The company chose Injoy Corporation to be their supplier. Injoy Corporation is located at
Unit 1 San Buena Bldg., Imelda Avenue Junction, Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal. For more

1. Competitions

The business was eco-friendly. Milk tea product is very popular nowadays especially to the
millennials. The company will serve you a mouth- watering menu and variety of flavors that will
surely satisfy your cravings!
2. Distribution and Cost of Transportation

The budget of the company for the transportation was estimated from P400- P500. The
entrepreneurs would use public transportation in buying the materials and ingredients that are
needed for the product. They would use jeepneys and tricycles as their mode of transportation. The
entrepreneurs had their own place to sell their products. Therefore, the transaction will be easier
and more comfortable to the customers that would buy the product.

B. Program Analysis of Marketing Strategies


1. Pricing Strategy

The company’s pricing strategy was to find a competitive price of the product and its service.
The ultimate goal of the company was to get a big income and to gain more customers. They would
lower down the price, like from the other milk tea stores their milk tea’s price ranges from small
size is 60 pesos and to large size is 90 pesos and above. But in Mightea Company, they gave a
very low price for their milk tea, in small size, it only costs 39 pesos, for medium size, it costs 49
pesos and for large size is worth 59 pesos. The company would also give promos, if they buy 3
milk teas, they have a free one small sized Mightea. With that, they could attract more customers
and gain more income from their business.

2. Channel of Distribution

The aspiring entrepreneurs used direct marketing because they sell it directly to the public.
Also, to promote their products directly to the consumers. Also, helped them to set their realistic
sales goals and improved sales results on a tight marketing budget.

3. Promotion and Advertising

The group used social media as their voice of the product. They posted the information about
the product. Also, they used and gave posters and cards to spread out the information.

IV. Production
1. Product Specification

Mightea is combined with tea and milk. It is also added with sweet tapioca pearls which can
help increase your fiber. The company ensures that the product they produce has a good benefit to
the company and especially to the consumers. There are benefits to the customers that their milk
tea can give, it can lessen the stress they feel and can speed up their metabolism. It can also soothe
their digestive system. While the benefits of having this kind of business is it can attract and gain
more customers since milk tea products nowadays are in-demand. Here are the step-by-step
procedures in making the delicious and affordable Mightea!

Procedures

Preparing Tapioca Pearls:

 In a pot, boil 600 ml of water and ¾ cup of brown sugar.


 When the water achieves a rolling boil, pour in the 1 cup of tapioca.
 Stir the tapioca lightly so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot.
 Cook the tapioca pearls for one hour.

Preparing Mightea

 Pour 1 cup of milk tea powder (Flavors: Wintermelon, Brown Sugar or Coffee) using
measuring cups in 1 liter of water.
 Put the tapioca on the cup.
 Then pour the milk tea.
 Using an ice scooper, add ice in the milk tea.
 Seal the cup and shake it well.
 Serve the delicious Mightea!

The machinery and equipment that would be needed were the following:

1. Cooler/ Freezer- for the ice.


2. Measuring cups- for measuring the ingredients.
3. Pitchers- for the milk tea.
4. Heater- for cooking the tapioca pearls.
5. Spatula- for cooking of the tapioca pearls also.
6. Ice scooper- for scooping the right amount of ice.
7. Container- for cooked tapioca pearls.

The entrepreneurs were able to comply with all the requirements needed in their business.
Their raw materials for food processing was inspected and proved up to standard. Their
operating platforms and production were cleansed and disinfected before and after the work.
