- Prepare and arrange unit assembly
- Identify and obtain materials, tools and equipment
- Alignment of components and installing proper screws
- Follow OH & S policies and procedures
- Follow step-by-step in assembling a computer hardware
 Assemble and Disassemble computer hardware*
- Open the side panel of the system unit
- Install power supply
- Install CPU into socket
- Install heat sink and fan
- Install RAM into RAM slot
- Mount the MOBO to system unit case
- Install I/O shield to system unit case
- Install HDD into drive bay
- Install Optical drive into drive bay
- Connect 24pin ATX power to MOBO
- Connect 4pin ATX power to MOBO
- Connect the SATA power to HDD and Optical drive
- Connect SATA data to MOBO for HDD and Optical
drive
- Connect front panel wires and headers to MOBO
(USB/AUDIO/Reset/Power/HDD LED/ Power LED)
- Double check all the connections
- Testing the assembled computer Power-on-self-test
(POST)
