Exploring the arts and crafts of a destination

means getting to know the culture and vibe of

that place, immersing yourself in its essence.

South Africa has a complex and fascinating

history, and the arts and crafts produced here

often tell a poignant story of yesteryear.

Therefore, it is a enchanting destination and

visitors are encouraged to amble around the

craft markets and stop at the street vendors to

get a taste of this heritage and creativity.

KwaZulu Natal is a popular tourist destination,

attracting visitors from all over the country

and the world to be a part of its gorgeous

beauty and fascinating culture.

Africarve is in Port Edward and is dedicated to

showcasing the exquisite hand-carved crafts

(including door signs) of local artists. These

artisans have a real passion for what they do

and this shows in their creations, which

transform the splendour of natural wood into

something unique, even practical.

the forest. Summertime brings with it live

music performances at night, creating an
