TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Sealed quotations are invited for Panchakarma Equipments. The approximate cost of the
item/items is around Rs. 1200000/-(Rs. 12 lacs) The approximate cost of Rs. 48,000/- (Rs.
Forty eight thousand) (@ 4% of the total cost) is required to be deposited through Demand
Draft in favor of Ayurveda Regional Research Institute for Nutritional Disorder Jaral
Pandoh, Mandi payable at Pandoh, Mandi, H.P. Other than D.D. mode amount will not be
acceptable.
2. Interested parties subject to following terms and conditions may submit their respective
Quotations latest by 20/08/2018 till 05 P.M .time. The Quotations will be opened on
21/08/2018. at 11A.M. in the office and parties may remain present on the said date and
time if they desire so.
3. The price offered by lowest bidder is not binding. The decision will be taken based upon the
quality and make of equipments, by the committee. Final offer will be subject to
confirmation/ approval by the Director General, CCRAS, New Delhi and party will be
intimated only after receiving the said approval.
4. Only real Manufacturer/ dealer possessing to providing the appropriate servicing
maintenance and spare parts etc. shall submit the tender. Certificate should be attached
failing which tender will be rejected.
5. Rates should be quoted in appropriate column as specification of equipments/ items in the
original tender form which will be obtained from office or through downloading from the
website. Overwriting/ rubbing should be avoided, clean and clear writing allowed with ball
pen. Sign on each and every page of the tender document is necessary failing which tender
will be rejected.
6. The institute reserves the right to forfeit the EMD in case of making any changes by the
tenderer in rates or conditions. In the event of loss occurred during the installation etc.
Institute will forfeit the security deposit and EMD.
7. The rate should be quoted very clearly on the basis of measurement, number, mark and make
etc. including payment of all kinds of duties/ taxes etc. The delivery has to be made to the
Institute F.O.R.. In case tax/ duty is required to be paid separately it should be mentioned
clearly at arrival cost.
8. Tenderer has to submit the tender along with a copy of PAN card/ income tax and sale tax
clearance certificate duly attested.
9. The goods/ materials have to be supplied within the stipulated period and time as mentioned
in the purchased order. The Institute will not liable to take a delivery after the overdue of the
prescribed date and EMD will be forfeited.
10. Delayed supply of the materials liable to change 10% of penalty per day and cost will be
recovered from overall bill.
11. Tenderer will be responsible for all kinds of breakage/ pilferage etc. of Panchakarma
equipments occur during the transportation.

12. Assistant Director In- charge, RARIND, Jaral Pandoh, Mandi reserve the right to accept or
reject the tender partially or totally without assigning any reason thereof.
13. The rates are to be quoted as final as no discount will be shown separately.
14. As per the need of institution limits of the purchased can be increased or decreased. The
payment will be made to successful Tenderer after deduction of 5% security amount from the
final bill and the same will be refunded after completion of the guarantee period.
15. EMD amount will be refunded to the successful tenderer after supply/ installation and
satisfaction during the demonstration. Five percent security deposited will be deducting from
over all bills.
16. Tender can be rejected for non performing satisfactory or not supply of material and EMD
will be forfeited.
17. Necessary TDS will be deducted as per the rule from the bill.
18. Payment will be released after delivery of the goods/ equipments and satisfactory installation
of the Equipments.
19. If any dispute arising from either side during the course of supply/ transaction will be
resolved by mutually or in Mandi Judicial territory.
