The document outlines the 8 steps of the scientific method used to investigate why some students at a high school are late. It describes researching the problem, forming a hypothesis that some students are late due to internet use rather than waking up early. A survey was distributed to students to test the hypothesis, with results recorded in a table. Most students reported being late, supporting the conclusion that many students are late due to internet use.

Step 1:state the problem in the form of a question:
What is the cause why some students of a Plaridel National High School? Step 2: research the problem: You hit the snooze button five times too many. Your bed was just so warm and the outside world was just so cold. You needed to take a few minutes to really motivate yourself to start the day. You spent 20 minutes debating if you are going to wash your hair or not--dry shampoo it is! The whole dry shampoo thing didn’t work out so you try out a cute bun and that is also a fail so you opt for a hat. You needed to find an outfit that matches said hat. It took you 15 minutes to find your new pair of jeans. You tried to perfect your winged eyeliner. You determine that the first outfit you had on was awful so you spent another ten minutes changing into a new one. ...only to change back into the first one. You forgot to do your homework--time to quickly write that reflection on the reading you didn’t do. You got distracted and started clicking on Her Campus articles. You walked out the door got halfway to Canisus and realized you left your textbook in your room--time to walk back. On your way back you stopped for coffee because you couldn’t possibly fathom starting your day without it. The line for coffee was insane…but you decided that coffee was far more important than being on time. But they made your drink totally wrong! You saw the cute guy from your Spanish class and chatted on the way to class even if it meant you were going to be late. STEP 3: FORM A HYPOTHESIS: Some students were late because of internet than going to school early. Step 4: write down the procedure that will be used to test experiment: 1.PREPARED A QUESTION ABOUT DEALING WITH STUDENTS WHO ARE LATE. 2.MAKE A DATA SHEET EXPERIMENT OR SURVEY. 3.DISTRIBUTE THE DATA SHEET EXPERIMENT TO THE STUDENTS FROM GRADE 7-12. 4.OBSERVE AND RECORD ALL RESULTS. 5.AND CONTINUE THE STEPS OF SCIENTIFIC METHOD.
STEP 5: PERFORM EXPERIMENT TO TEST
HYPOTHESIS: QUESTIONS: YES NO EXPLANATION 1.DO YOU SLEEP EARLY? 2.DO YOU WAKE UP EARLY? 3.DO YOU GO TO THE HOUSE OF YOUR FRIENDS BEFORE GOING TO SCHOOL? 4.DO YOU ATTEND FLAG CEREMONY? 5.DO YOU AGREE TO THE PUNISHMENT OF MRS. ARMADA IF YOU RE LATE? 6.DID YOU HAVE TRIED SPECIAL FLAG CEREMONY IN THE SCHOOL? STEP 6:OBSERVE AND RECORD ALL RESULTS: STUDENTS: YES NO % by yes % by no total A-1 A-2 B-1 B-2 C-1 C-2 D-1 D-2 E-1 E-2 F-1 F-2
Step 7: interpret the data
Out of 12 learners who answered our data sheet experiment many students who are late going to school but some students going to school early.
Step 8: conclusion: THEREFORE I CONCLUDE, THAT MANY STUDENTS LATE COMING IN SCHOOL BECAUSE OF THE INTERNET.
