Coleman Catholic High School announces that our beloved school will complete its mission and close its doors on August 30, 2019, Despite our best efforts, enrollment regrettably decreased and the demands for maintaining an aging facility increased, leading to the unfortunate point where the continued operation of Coleman Catholic is no longer sustainable. For over five decades, the dedication and commitment of ‘Coleman’s faculty and staff led to the success of hundreds of young men and women. These dedicated educators did their job with enthusiasm, kindness and care. Everyone who has ever been associated with Coleman is blessed with many wonderful memories of the So+ years that John A. Coleman Catholic H.S. served the community of Ulster County, The spirit of this school will live on in all those who have ever been a part of its history. ‘Words cannot express our appreciation for the generosity and support our students, parents, alumni, and school community members have so freely given. We ask for your prayers for those especially impacted by this sad news and we will help with this transition.
