Nature of Duties and Responsibilities:

 Carried out Radiography Technique for find out deposits and corrosion
Checks In pipelines and equipment weld joints Inspections in Plant and
Fabrication shop.
 Wet fluorescent & non fluorescent magnetic particle testing on the Vessels,
exchanger as per code requirements & client specifications. Pressure parts,
non-pressure parts & Lifting Equipment’s).
 Fluorescent & visible penetrant testing (Solvent removable) on the vessels,
Exchanger (back-gouged areas, all pressure parts, non-pressure parts) as
per code requirements & Client specification.
 Carried out ultrasonic thickness measurement of pipelines and
Equipment’s. Then corrosion checks on pressure vessels. Tank Exchanger
Column, Lamination check of raw materials.

Duties and Responsibility as a NDT Technician:(Gas Plant)

 Performed Radiography testing on pressure vessels, exchangers,

columns, piping, castings (pipe butt joints, shell to nozzles, nozzle
openings, cladded plates). As per requirements of codes & standards
and Client specifications. Equipment use for RT (SCAR (989) Delta 880).

 UT lamination and Thickness survey gauges both erosion and corrosion

Components, vessels, piping and tubing of petroleum, Refinery, Power
and Chemical Industries.

 DPT was carried out on Circumference weld and Tee joint of Vessels,
Drum and Column.

 MPI was carried out on Circumference weld and Tee joint of Vessels,
Drum and Column.

 Thickness Measurement of Hot Piping and Equipment.

 To study the isometric drawing received from the clients and to identify
the pipelines and carry out the inspection work.

 Review of Isometric drawings/P&ID’s.
