How the AquaTec™ Works

AquaTec™ utilizes proprietary ionic silver

nanotechnology to neutralize contaminating
microbes without toxic chemical disinfectant
solutions

When in contact with water, silver ions are

released uniformly until a targeted effective
concentration is reached. The AquaTec™
surface recognizes the concentration and
is self regulating, releasing more ions only
when needed.

How the AquaTec™ Works

Silver ions released from the AquaTec™ are

replenished as needed from a depot in the core of
the device.

Contaminating bacteria, viruses and fungi in the

water are destroyed by the silver ions, in a
process which consumes silver ions

To guarantee the supply of silver ions to combat

contaminants, a constant supply of ions is
continuously provided by the AquaTec’s™ core.
The surface is therefore always as active as when
it was new
