Shikhi : The Visionary

Zone : NE
The first energy field in the eastern direction is that of Shikhi.

Sanskrit meaning of Shikhi : A 'pointed flame'.The minute form of Agni is

known as Shikha. It is means a ray of light. It is mentioned as Mahadev
Shiv in Samrangan Sutradhar.

Attributes : Ideas and Vision.

This sacred red-energy field helps conceive ideas and condensing them. All
creations in this world, begin with an idea. And our capability to conceive
ideas are related to this energy field. The ruling planet of this direction is
the Jupiter. Jupiter is the planet related to insights,

We need to examine this energy field when we find ourselves at loss of

ideas. This is the energy zone provides us insights in a flash.

Entrance Effects : E1

The effects of an entrance placed here is associated with fire, accidents and
losses.

When we overlay the body Vastu-Purush on the floor plan of our home, the
head of the vastu-purush lies in this zone. Vastu Purush was born out of
sweat drops that fell of the earth when Mahadev Shiv had a fight with the
demon Andhakasur. He has attributes of the good and the evil. In
Samrangan Sutradhar, the meaning of Shikhi is mentioned as Mahadev
Shiv. Mahadev Shiv has three eyes. The third eye of Shiv always remains
closed. Whenever Mahadev opens his third eye, it causes fire and disaster.

Hence, whenever there is an entrance placed in this energy field, the energy
field is disturbed and this causes fire related accidents. And may be because
of this reason, the placement of water is recommended here.
Water is symbolic of Ideas and thoughts as well as when placed here,
symbolically, helps to keep the the third eye of Mahadev cool. That's why
we apply Chandan on the third eye.

The entire north east region of Thailand is called Isan. It is extended and
disproportionate when compared to the rest of the country. Education is
given emphasis, while for job opportunities, people have to travel to
Bangkok. The region continuous to remain financially backward. The place
is well known for its farming practices and water buffaloes. It is also well
known for the abundant female population of girls.

Practical case observations :

1) Kitchen : Will cause anger and frustration

3) Toilets : Hamper child birth and cause mental defects
4) Bedroom : Neurological issues
5) Sitting there for a long time : Disinterest in life.

Prajanya : The Insight Granter

Zone : ENE
This is second energy field in the eastern direction.

Sanskrit meaning :

A Dev or Gandharva.
Rain cloud or a thunder cloud.
One of the 12 Adityas

Attributes :

This golden-yellow energy field is associated with flora and fauna. It is

responsible with the plants and plantation.
The rain clouds fall on the earth and encourages the growth of plants. When
we meditate sitting in this energy field, we receive insights and our
curiosities are satisfied to the core. Prajanya is considered to grant fertility
to the cow and women.

Although, this energy field does not fall into the zone of NE, it is also
responsible for insights.

Entrance Effects : E2

Whenever, there is an entrance placed in this energy field, it is said to give

birth to more girls in the family.

As per traditional Indian spiritual beliefs, there are three important Nadis
run that run through our human body : Ida, that lies in the left portion of
our spine and associated with Lunar energy, Susumma, that runs in the
center, and Pingla, that runs through the right portion of our spine, and
associated with Solar energy.
Traditionally, Ida represents the female energy and Pingala represents the
male energy. As the body of the Vastu-Purush, is over laid with its head
facing the ground, the energy zone of Prajanya encompasses that of Pingla
Nadi.

Thus, when an entrance is placed in Prajanya, the Pingla Nadi ( male

energy ) is disturbed and weakened, resulting into the weakening of the
masculine energy force in the house, and there-by increasing the chances of
more female-births in the house.

The entire NE region of Thailand had an abundance of the female

population. The Female ratio to males is very high and the females belong
to this region are said to be very bold and are notoriously known. Hence,
when a door is placed in this energy field is responsible for birth of more
females than males and those females tend to be very outgoing and
extroverts.

Practical case observation :

Toilets : Working relentlessly without getting adequate returns.

Washing machine : Ovary related issues and Inability to have children in
women.
Kitchen : Inadequate results of efforts

Jayant : The Success Maker

Zone : ENE
The third energy field in the eastern direction is that of Jayant.

Sanskrit meaning : Victorious.

Attributes :

This primary attribute of this golden-yellow energy field is to ensure

success in your all undertakings. This zone is responsible for keeping us
refreshed and charge us with zeal and enthusiasm to execute the new ideas.

When we are unable to deal with the nitty gritties of life with zeal and
enthusiasm, we need to examine this energy field. When we are too
straightforward and are unable to deal with complexities of life and people
around, we need to look here.

The dev, Jayant has appears in the Sundara-kand in form of a crow.

Mythology has it, that while Rama, slept in Sita's lap, her feet were pecked
by a crow. Seeing her bleed, the enraged Rama unleashes Brahmastra on
the crow. The crow flees with fear seeking refuge, but ultimately returns to
Rama, seeking pardon. As the Brahmastra cannot be reversed, it ended up
hurting the left-eye of the crow leaving him half blind. Jayant also appears
in Samudra-manthan, it is said that when the demons seized the pot of
amrut, Jayant, in form of crow, seizes the pot of Amrit, and flies with it for
12 days, continuously, dropping its precious drops on location of Prayag,
Ujjain, Haridwar and Naasik. Kumbh-Mela is celebrated on these four
locations every 12 years to commemorating this incident.

Entrance Effects : E3

In Hindu mythology, Jayant is termed as the son of king Indra and queen
Sachi. Sachi was daughter of Diti, the mother of Asurs.
Jayant has the genes of both, the Devs and the Asurs in him. Hence,
whenever an entrance is placed on this energy-field, the occupants are
equipped with all kind of skills ( ethical or unethical ) that unable them to
enjoy success of all types in this materialistic world.

The fourth energy field in the Eastern direction is that of Indra.

Sanskrit Meaning :

The Hindu warrior God of Rain and thunder.

The commander of the four heavens
The God of the center.

Attributes :

This golden-yellow energy field is the most significant Dev after Aapha and
Agni. It is responsible for associating people and developing the power of
association. When in balance, this energy field bestows powerful
connections with abundance, money and luxury. Indra's chariot moves at
the speed of mind, he is said to be the king of five senses.

When one needs to develop powerful administrative connections, this

energy field needs to be attended to.
In mythology, Indra is honored to be the God of Gods. His weapon is Vajra
and he rides on an elephant called Airavat. He is the son of Goddess Aditi
and has Varuna and Yama as his brothers.

Entrance Effects : E4

The meaning of Indra is not just limited to that of God. It also refers to the
status that an individual enjoys ; a life of luxury and comfort. Hence,
whenever, an entrance is placed here, the in-mates enjoy a life of luxury
and comfort.

Surya : The Controller

Zone : East
The fifth energy field on the eastern direction is known as Surya.

Sanskrit meaning : The sun

Attributes :

This coppery red energy field is considered to be one of the main devtas of
Rig-ved. It is the guardian power, the soul, the controller of any system. It
imparts us with far-sightedness and observation power. It is said to have
slained the demons of darkness. It is the guardian power that runs the
world. It is said to have 1000 eyes, symbolically it means that it has a strong
power of observation. And only when we learn to observe, we are able to
gain control and mastery of the world. This energy field also responsible for
a good fame and name in the society.

Surya, the chief deity in hinduism, the chief of nine planets, is depicted
riding a seven horse chariot and is one of the 12 Adityas.
Surya has three wives and is the father of Yam as well as the planet Saturn (
Shani ). The Surya-namaskar is the traditional form of worship to the sun,
and is considered to be very auspicious. Gayatri mantra, too, is associated
with the Sun.

When we are looking for a name and fame in the society, we need to attend
to this energy field. This field also holds the key to our observation powers.

Entrance Effects : E5

The Sun represent heat, energy and light. When this zone of energy is
balanced, the residents enjoy the flow of the energy of the sun in its
complete strength. When energy of this zone, is disturbed by the placement
of a door, the residents remain disturbed and thus suffer from a short-
temperaments and aggressive behaviour.

Zone : ESE
This is the sixth energy field from the eastern direction.

Sanskrit meaning : the in-changeable truth or reality ; to be non-distorted.

Attributes :

This silvery-white energy field is responsible for developing good-will and

status. This zone is responsible for establishing our credibility.
The attributes of this field are close to that of Surya. It also imparts the
power of thinking and analysis to an individual. When balanced, this energy
field encourages the individual to maintain his commitments.

Talking about the 'Yam and Niyams', Patanjali says that one who is firmly
establishes in speaking the truth, the fruits of actions become subservient to
him.

When the credibility of an individual comes into question, along with other
zones, this energy field needs examination.

Entrance Effects : E6

Whenever, there is an entrance door placed in this energy field, the power
of occupants of the home to keep up their commitments weakens and their
behavior gets unreliable.

Practical case observations :

Mirror : extends the zone, invites extramarital problems

Door : You don't keep your commitments and others do not keep them to
you.
Responsible for the maintaining of one's dharma.
Imbalances or door : Causes back-stabbing.

Bhrisha : The Creator of Goodwill

Zone : ESE

The seventh energy field in the the eastern direction is known as Bhrisha.

Sanskrit meaning : ample

Attributes :

This yellow energy field developing in the SE direction is responsible for

bringing out some-things by rubbing two things together. If this energy is
weak, actions will not be executed well.
Either too much of analysis will delay the execution or hastiness in
execution will spoil the end result. It is ideal to place a mixer or a grinder
here.

Whenever we find that the analyzing ability of an individual is not effective

because of which the individual ends up making wrong decisions, we need
to examine this energy field.

Entrance effects : E7

At one place, Bhrisha is said to mean Kamdev. Kamdev is the God of love
and desire. Hence, whenever an entrance door is placed on this energy
field, the desires of the occupants of the home get activated and the express
insensitive behavior for the attainment of their desires.

Practical case observations :

Cut : inability to take decisions or the decisions are rash

Blue colour : worst effect on mind : nightmares in decision-making.
Presence of blue : negative effects.
Presence of metal show pieces : the person keeps of changing decisions
regularly.
Sewage pipes : major losses due to bad decision making.

Akash : The Inner Space

Zone : SE
The eight energy field in the eastern direction is that of Aakash.

Sanskrit meaning : Sky, Space.

Attributes :

This blueish energy field represents the space between the Earth and the
Heaven which allows life to manifest.
This energy field provides space to the process of evolution to take place. It
allows things to happen ; the process to take place, to initiate. If this energy
field is imbalanced, manifestation is not possible.

Whenever, we find that we are stuck, and life and events seems to not be
moving, we need to attend to this energy field. Hence, the presence of a
store here, does not allow movement of events.

Entrance Effects : E8

This energy-field is associated with manifestation or initiation of events.

When this energy field weakens with a placement of a door, the occupants
of the home undergo financial losses.

The world does not wait for anyone. It moves ahead at its own pace,
irrespective of whether, we are able to move along or not. And if we are not
able to initiate our ideas, our life gets stagnant and we are not able to cope,
and hence we suffer. The most obvious effect of this suffering is reflected in
our bank balance. Hence, a door here is not recommended.
